Questions about savage raids

I know the rewards of the first level of the savage raid won't be given if you do a raid level at the second level. But I was wondering if it happened when you accept the queue of the second level or when you clear the second level? Asking cause I want to practice a level above where I'm at for my static, but don't want to lose out on the loot.

When you enter. You can make alts though.

So much as entering a higher floor sets your current weekly progress to that floor, forfeiting your coffers and books for the earlier floors.
