2. Not entering the raid until weekly reset (entered P2S without clear)
3. Weekly reset yesterday
4. Logged in after reset and reward in P1S still says it has been claimed
5. Cleared P2S - 2 coffers
6. P1S still says claimed, tried going in - 1 coffer so I left

Yes, if you enter P2S before clearing P1S, you forfeit the loot chance and book from P1S. It's always worked this way and is intended.

Yes, I am aware of that, but as I said, the reward said claimed BEFORE I entered P2S or any other duty this week.

Are you sure you logged in after reset? The date & time portion of your report only says the date so it's kind of missing essential information

Yeah sorry, I only wrote it in the steps and not in date & time. I am certain it was after reset though. It probably doesn't matter anymore since I wasn't patient and did P2S before this was resolved, I was just curious why that might have happened. Hopefully it won't happen again next week. ><

It's worth noting that, perhaps counterintuitively, weekly resets and daily resets happen at different times of day - which is likely why Wilford was noting the importance of, well, noting the precise time.

It sounds very much like what probably happened is you were playing perhaps even minutes before the reset occurred. And the way FF works, you can enter a duty before a reset, clear it after the reset, and it counts for the day/week when the clear occurred - not when you entered. For example, if you enter a leveling roulette at :50, and then complete it at :10 when a daily reset happened 10 minutes before - the reward counts for after the reset.

Same applies to savage. It sounds like the previous week you didn't clear p2s. So. Probably you were still in the state of having cleared p1s, you entered p2s again - the reset may have happened while you were in the instance, but since you're there it counted as skipping p1s. (In savage's case you don't need to clear - even entering a higher floor's instance counts as skipping all previous floors and forfeiting the rewards).

Not my favorite system design, but not a bug either...

The thing is, I was at work during the weekly reset, if I'm not mistaken about the weekly reset being Tuesday 8am GMT. I logged in about 5pm GMT yesterday so it way long after the reset. The only thing I can really think of is that I wrongly saw it as claimed but it wasn't and then I gave up on the rewards by entering P2S. Anyways, thanks for a lot of useful information! ^^
