Quested armor and weapons

I hope they add Items that have to be quested to obtain, maybe a chain quest to get an uber weapon that cant be crafted, then a later quest to upgrade the weapon, etc, I know all the crafters will scream, but a good mmo has a balance of crafting and adventure, and we're all suppose to be adventurers right?

yeah that would be good, a series of un-craftable equips, gives an incentive for all those crafters to get out in the big bad world :P
(and allow me to skip the mind numbing world or crafting/gathering )

There's something similar to that in the game already with the templar, buccaneer and harlequin set. These set are among the best available for DoM and DoW right now.

To get them you have to do something similar to chain quest but with faction leves. There are chains of 3 faction leves. Doing 1 unlock the next one of the chain. In the last one there'll be a small nm to fight and a chest will appear at the end of the quest. In the chest you will either get a runestone that you can exchange for a piece of equipment or nothing. Once the last faction leve is unlock you don't have to redo the 2 first to get another try, you can directly redo the last one as long as you have enough faction point.
