A Safe Place to Hide

A Safe Place to Hide is a level 63 quest required to progress the Scholar Questline. However, I cannot progress and think the quest may be bugged.

I am at the point in the quest where the quest states 'Cast Adloquium on Setoto.' However, I can't because every time I try it just says 'Invalid target.' I have tried Physick, Swiftcast Adloquium, Sacred Soil, Lustrate, Succor, every ability I have access to and I cannot heal her because 'Invalid target.'

I have already submitted this as a bug report, and already tried abandoning the quest and coming back to it. I am completely stuck, and unable to progress as Scholar as this is part of the main Scholar questline.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, I am a summoner main but have been learning Scholar and really enjoying it, and want to progress more with the character, but I can't right now until this is sorted.

It's kind of difficult to give a clear answer without seeing what you're doing first-hand. It's possible you could be doing something slightly wrong and you aren't noticing. If you can, taking some screenshots or even video recording you attempting this would make it easier to see if there's just some user error or if it is actually a bug.

If it is a bug, and you submitted a report, you fortunately aren't going to miss out on anything that will bar you from progressing the MSQ or leveling as a SCH. Aetherpact is useful, but not particularly essential to your gameplay, so you can always come back later when the problem gets fixed. Perhaps someone out there can try to NG+ the SCH job quests and see if they can? I won't be able to until this evening, so I might give that a try tonight and get back to you.
