How hypocritical.
No one is forcing you to read this. If it bothers you that some people express distaste for the writing maybe find something more useful to do with your life?
Can I get an AMEN?! Hell yeah.I'm just going to say this:
Venat killed off her own civilization, just like Meteion tried to.
Venat was against Ancients worshipping Zodiark as a god, but became a god named Hydaelyn to be worshipped by lesser races.
Venat was against sacrifice of lesser races, but let 7 rejoinings happen.
Venat placed her hopes in lesser races, WoL (6 times rejoined, therefore closer to Ascians than mortals) fulfilled her hopes, not lesser races.
I dunno man.
From where I'm standing Venat is full of shite and she "won" only because my WoLie couldn't scream foul on her hippie ass.
You can spew intentions crap all you want at me, but that's not what defines a person. What defines a person is their actions and results.
Just one minor correction.
WoL is 8 times rejoined by the end of SHB. There were 7 successful Rejoinings and Ardbert fused with us from The First.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. Its kinda funny how defensive people get when they themselves get mildly challenged for their criticisms.
I have no clue how you guys even come up with such weird mental gymnastics of what was presented with the story. Is there just some extra dialogue or external lore that I missed regarding that Hydaelyn was a twisted power hungry maniac?
I suppose so. Forum trolls rarely get taken care of here, sadly. The fact that a troll account ,purposely made as an attack on Theodric – and right around the same time as a certain someone accused Theodric of having alts too, curious – and whose entire purpose is making a bad faith caricature of Endwalker critics, is still allowed to post, in spite of my dozen reports explaining the entire context of why it's nothing more than a troll account, should answer that.
Atelier-Bagur sets up a scarecrow and talks to it. More news at 11.

In other, absolutely breaking news: story is not the only reason why someone might play an online game.
You just need to look at WoW to understand that a story isn't the only thing keeping people around. But I suppose WoW has been dying since… what, TBC?
I guess they're subscribing to this thread for its riveting plot… To be fair, though, it wasn't this hard to outdo Endwalker. Maybe it's the gameplay…

Honestly this thread has done more to captivate me story wise than all of endwalker. In other, absolutely breaking news: story is not the only reason why someone might play an online game.
