Oh give it a rest you soy boy....forspoken is much worse on tone, writing and pacing. It is a terrible checklist made game, I am not going to entirely defend the decisions of Endwalker but give it a rest with that sort of troll bait comment. Your character in your sig would totally fit that travesty of a game....of he has wings now, yep he has wings now...maybe Aveyond might fly next.

Ryne and G'raha Tia and Hoary Boulder can't be Ascians. We must have good characters be Ascians. God King Solus, Kilt Wearing Fordola, and Grynewaht wearing masks so we don't know who they are. They fire the old Ascians and say we're the Ascians now. They have an edgy discussion in camp while wearing their masks. Grynewaht says, "It's my name day, where's my marshmallow cake covered in candles?" King Solus says, "Hahaha! We burnt it all and blew out the candles without you!" And the story pivots to helping Garlemald defeat Corvos, restore its emperor, and steal cheeseburgers to feed starving Garlemald.

I probably broke him by making him remember and fantasize about Miranda's ass from ME2. I heard some folks think he's Lyth using one of Theodric's other handles from another MMO discussion site. Unsure if true, but ah, oh well.

We agree with the post. Endwalking it bad except part with King Solus and monarchy. Good story are the 4speak and the Strange Knight Jack Garland.

I haven't played Forspoken (and don't intend to) so I can't agree or disagree on that point, but I would also be accepting of that 'average baseline'. C'mon writers, you don't have to write anything amazing, just something decent. I know you guys can do it.

Graeham and Lyth are indeed one and the same. It's not a very well kept secret and they've let their true identity slip on multiple occasions. That's why I never take 'Graeham' seriously, because Lyth herself was never worth taking seriously. I do find it ironic that the person who screamed "ALT!!!" at everyone who disagreed with her made an alt to troll with, but it's their money to spend how they please so /shrug.

Zero's development is going so fast I don't think anyone can say for sure she's not just a temporary ally for the current patch storyline, or if she will join the WoL indefinitely.

It would be pretty funny if one of the folks who claimed everyone who argues with them was a sockpuppet of one guy they hate turned out to be doing exactly that. But from what I've seen there was a point where Graeham was actually posting normally, with neither his new gimmick of pretending to be a foreigner cliché nor the disdain for everyone around them that's been oozing from most of Lyth's posts for the past few years.

No new character will be 'interesting' from the getgo. Absolutely no matter what it will be, the moment new character is introduced as part of 'main group', there will be SOME loud people who will instantly start a bemoaning of how much they hate them and how boring and predictable/annoying and obnoxious/generic and unintereting the new character is and how they cant wait for them to die off to get replaced with a 'more interesting character'. All while in next paragraph complaining about scions always being there and relevant.

It was certainly a genius move to chase out Matsuno while allowing several individuals who aren’t worth naming to fail upwards into positions of power - only for the writing in all aspects of the game to suffer as a result. If I had to choose between the current state of affairs and the way things used to be, my choice is obvious.

This no longer feels like a Final Fantasy game. It feels like a piece of fanfiction that went completely off the rails. Again, people need to play better games and wake up to the fact that the current trajectory of FFXIV’s storytelling needs to improve. But then again what can I expect from certain people who complained of having to step away from their computers after reading the Hermes short story or who to this day still cry about people being experimented on in Bozja.

But I suppose Hildibrand and the current Valentione event quest text is enough to satiate them. Not so for me.
