Imagine giving the Scions a break and actually meeting new characters without Scion assistance? Dunno why they say they will disband if you get together again and then say we shouldn't all group up together but you group up with 4 to 5 of the 7 Scions like it's another Tuesday.
I'd rather be traveling with Ryne or Nanamo or Hoary Boulder.
Let the WoL go on their own adventures without the Scions my goodness.
Trust is the reason they’re still here. It makes everyone who ever shows up in it immortal and forced into the story. Squadron would have eliminated this issue completely because by 60 we are en route to liberate two whole nations and Squadron would have fit perfectly as A) we canonically do everything ourselves and B) we literally have a squad under our command. Bring it up to the efficiency of Trust and guess what, story doesn’t need to be compromised at all.Imagine giving the Scions a break and actually meeting new characters without Scion assistance? Poor logic given that Ktisis gave us different trust NPCs to use and they could easily create more. If Trusts are the issue seems like a copout if you ask me. I hope "I am a real man now" Vrrtra and Ryne weren't just one and done trustee members.
Squadrons are heavily underutilized. They really need to put more focus into Grand Companies. They seem to have just flat out abandoned them in their entirety.
Duty support and trusts are very different things as well. We could use trusts to bring Ryne to the Source. Don't forget, game makes a difference between Duty Support and Trusts for a reason. Duty Support stuff is canon, trusts not so much.Poor logic given that Ktisis gave us different trust NPCs to use and they could easily create more. I would love to go on some adventures with Coultenet, Hoary Boulder, Ocher Boulder, Aenor, and Clemence. Let the non-main Scions get some development.Imagine giving the Scions a break and actually meeting new characters without Scion assistance? I hope 7.0 will get us to a new continent without anyone else. Explore and meet the natives! New characters, a new arc. Maybe we can play 7.0 MSQ independent of the current one. One can dream.
As for Trusts. Well we can't bring Ryne to Endwalker Dungeons. The same way they could replace all scions with new chars for next xpac dungeons.
Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless

If we levelled our Trust by role rather than each individual, we'd be able to switch around a bit more, perhaps. Meaning we would need to level so many healers, dps and all rounders and could then choose from a list of available characters to fill the role. Personally, I wouldn't mind Trust levelling getting a rework.
I think the Squadron has been pretty much abandoned at this stage and can't see them going back to it.
The idea of the scions being my WoL's 'forever friends' wouldn't have bothered me quite as much in ShB as it does now. In ShB I felt part of a team, after EW I'm back to feeling like an errand-girl for the posh and privileged. Right now, I'm sick and tired of most of the scions and I'd like a break.

Oh and i like to add: The scions all going their own way and eventually (probably in the 7.x patches) returning after their own adventures (maybe with a scar or a new job or new friends) would make themless blandmore interesting.

Seeing as how the devs hate having time passing be a thing, in universe it was probably about 30 minutes between the scions pretending to disband and us meeting back up with Tataru to see how everyone is doing.
