What's the point with that quite lackluster story in Endwalker?

Imagine giving the Scions a break and actually meeting new characters without Scion assistance? Dunno why they say they will disband if you get together again and then say we shouldn't all group up together but you group up with 4 to 5 of the 7 Scions like it's another Tuesday.

I'd rather be traveling with Ryne or Nanamo or Hoary Boulder.

Let the WoL go on their own adventures without the Scions my goodness.

Trust is the reason they’re still here. It makes everyone who ever shows up in it immortal and forced into the story. Squadron would have eliminated this issue completely because by 60 we are en route to liberate two whole nations and Squadron would have fit perfectly as A) we canonically do everything ourselves and B) we literally have a squad under our command. Bring it up to the efficiency of Trust and guess what, story doesn’t need to be compromised at all.

Poor logic given that Ktisis gave us different trust NPCs to use and they could easily create more. If Trusts are the issue seems like a copout if you ask me. I hope "I am a real man now" Vrrtra and Ryne weren't just one and done trustee members.

Squadrons are heavily underutilized. They really need to put more focus into Grand Companies. They seem to have just flat out abandoned them in their entirety.

Duty support and trusts are very different things as well. We could use trusts to bring Ryne to the Source. Don't forget, game makes a difference between Duty Support and Trusts for a reason. Duty Support stuff is canon, trusts not so much.
