What's the point with that quite lackluster story in Endwalker?

Boy, does it feel awkward watching streamers finishing the Elpis segment then seeing their chats gushing about it after all the deep thinking and discussion I've done since I finished the MSQ.

I think I now relate to Hermes on a spiritual level in the sense of feeling alone and like an aberration for having different thoughts from the masses.

Honestly, once 6.1 is here and it gives everyone something new to discuss I think that there will be more people willing to understand the concerns people are putting forward about Endwalker's narrative and messaging. Especially since 6.1 will give access to New Game + and allow more people to go back outside of the honeymoon period.

If nothing else, the development team are at least aware of such concerns and will hopefully take greater care when writing the story in the future.
