Yeah next patch we get to see the twins again and i fear the next expansion we will just all venture into the void together with our discount Zenos and all our "friends". So much for new beginnings and newfound adventures.

Unlikely, since Yoshi-P has stated there are no hints whatsoever leading to where we're going for the next expansion, apparently. Meaning hopefully the Void will be wrapped up by 6.4 at the latest and 6.5 will be the game slapping us with events leading to the next expansion.

I do hope so, i fear we will go to Meracydia after we saved dragon sis. Still a whole continent unexplored in the source though the Allagans nuked that place and captured all their primals. But i fear it will be somethign Emet spoilered already.

What i would love to see though is just us traveling to another shard, far away from all the scions and meet new people and start as a "new" adventurer to these places. Would be a great opportunity to let the devs run wild and not stick completely to old concepts. Would be nice to see a rather modern shard. Something between Garlemald and the Crystarium maybe.

You are right. New story mean new chara. Should kill off the old chara with the rocks fall and be making the new story with the God King Solus and friends to remake the No Shadow God land. Then can destroy sunder people and make the new mustard race that enjoy the traditional masculine of slice of the life burger scene.

I do not know why all the guild leave but they come back in the patch 63 if you bump the tread once the month when it fall hidden to page 231 of general disgust forum. Keep the belief and light the candle.

I think you would be very surprised with the # of people that are very satisfied and enjoy this game immeasurably. Most of them do not frequent this trash forum. They have more sense than I do.

I honestly find the OFs the most accessible mainstream place for any kind of "controversial" discussion because the XIV Reddits are policed by openly biased mods who'll look for the slightest excuse to delete comments or close threads they don't agree with, or look the other way when people are violating the rules but speaking out against the "dissidents" who dare to say anything critical about the story or other aspects that are considered off-limits by the majority.

Discord is generally not going to be much better unless you specifically find a more open/similar-minded community, and Twitter is...Twitter.

For now, I am simply holding my breath and waiting for the new MSQs to captivate me in the same manner that the original storyline did...and hopefully without evoking as much mental/emotional dissonance as Endwalker did.
