Aaaaaaah, you guys gotta stop reminding me just how bad Endwalker was. Seriously.
Forget the Journey, it's the narrative potholes and flaws and plotbumps that never end.

I've come to accept that the WoL is simply as strong/competent as the plot/writers need them to be, and us being challenged/threatened by things we logically wouldn't have any issues steamrolling for the sake of drama is going to continue being a trend.
I think it's preferable to having constant threat escalation considering what we dealt with recently, though, and sometimes they make it work better by giving an antagonist some kind of sneaky trick or gimmick that we need someone's help to overcome.

Cause: cutscene where the scions prayed and channeled their power to us.
Effect: a second lb3 to survive another blast that Zenos made no attempt to dodge.
Can't change your mind on this one Crowder but you're not making a good argument yourself when the Minstrel is your best reason we didn't need the Scions.

Actually, their praying formed a forcefield of its own that had no relation to the Limit Break. Coincidentally right as her second Ultimate Fate hits. The second LB you're thinking of is part of the scripted fight given to the players after you defeat the Kaikodaimon. Along with the line, "Transcend your limits to survive!"
The fight goes on after the Scions' prayer field saves you to give you all of their prayer lines, popping up with the text message <Insert Scion Name Here>'s Prayers give you strength! Even though you don't get any stronger, nor gain any LB bars (And you can still even lose if your healers die).
It's more or less scripted to make up for the script discounting the Scions earlier to remove them from being used in the final fight. As the total sum of their powers were useless when used directly against Meteion. It was only by praying for the WoL and believing in the WoL almost like a deity that they could be useful to us in the end.
And even that is discounted in the end, due to the Zenos fight proving that we could have fought against Meteion with elevated personal strength. Spark of Hope gives us 6 more lives, and that means Meteion would have had to use Ultimate Fate 7 times in order to beat the WoL, if the WoL had been fighting with all of their might.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore

Didn't we get a full LB3 during the WoL battle? I don't remember the scions praying back then
Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
Azem disagreed and got sundered as a result. But rabbit face mother knows best right?
Small correction, Azem never said they disagree with Venat, they just didn't respond when asked to summon Hydaelyn.
That can have many more implications than them simply disagreeing, like something happening to them before they got time to respond.
Venat Skywalker: If you aren't with me my protege then you are against me. I will fly while I watch you walk. *winkyface*
