Using Venatori as a group name for the Venat fanboys. The dragon age crossovers never seem to stop. First all the VA crossovers, now this. Every day im loving and regretting that all my characters are named after my favorite DA companions. For any Venatori lurkers, know that some notables have discovered that Kozh's comic has been ripped and replaced with slanderous overtones on the r/ShitpostXIV subreddit. Mayhaps remember that next time just how awesome the GCBTW of FFXIV TRULY IS.
For any who's sheiss I may have just stirred, I'm sorry for some and I'm very NOT SORRY for others. You know to which party each of y'all belong, you're rather intelligent and I refuse to insult that.

Eh, I like it.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:
Comic is good. Not the authors fault that reddit vanatori neckbeards can't stand any opinion that differs from the hivemind. Anyway, it's been 246 days since Endwalker Early Access launched (if you could call it a launch..) and I think I actually dislike this expansion more as time goes on. I thought eventually I'd warm to it, but nah. I thought maybe it's like a fine wine that gets better with age, but it seems time just exposes more of the stupidity present in this xpac. I'm hoping Pandamonium part 2 will give me something to be excited about, but considering they've shafted all of the previous ancient plot points, I'm not gonna hold my breath. They'll probably have Graha Tia turn up at the last moment to sniff my hair and save the day with the power of friendship

Fine wine ages because you leave it alone. If you kept starting at it every day growing more and more frustrated that it isn't instantly turning into precisely the taste you want it to be, it doesn't help. Dwelling in an echo chamber of negativity like the forums here actually degrades your chances of enjoying something. It's one of those quirks of human nature. Sometimes it's healthy to step away completely for a bit and let that wine do its thing and age. Constantly complaining about it isn't going to make you magically enjoy it.Comic is good. Neither is ignoring its flaws or pretending they don't exist. If anything, this is not ageing like a fine wine but milk left out in the afternoon sun.Fine wine ages because you leave it alone. When the game's story becomes self-aware:
And here we all are trying to ignore the stench. Some people ignore it, others say "it's gone bad and we could have done something about it". Then you got those that find the new guy and tell them "it's fine. Just chug it!".
The "echo" comes from them laughing at the new guy who is now vomiting their guts out.
This is completely unrelated.Fine wine ages because you leave it alone. TV Series The Sopranos's ending was originally received quite poorly because of how unconventionnal it was, but over the years more and more people started to recognize it for the genius it was through analysis and discussions.
In contrast, Game of Thrones's reception only got worse over the years, with people still being angry over it more than 3 years after its run was over.
Talking and analyzing a work only makes it worse if its quality was surface level. Which is IMO, exactly the case for Endwalker.

At this point I'm convinced that 95% of the time you have no idea what you are talking about.Fine wine ages because you leave it alone. EW is like a fresh fish, it starts out smelling mildly unpleasant and the longer you let it sit the more it starts smelling like rot and makes you want to vomit.
The only thing connecting it with wine is that it can be applied to EW like to a bad date, you can get drunk until it looks okay to you. Which I have a feeling is something far too many people here are doing, but it also puts them in the mood to come here and unload their sloshy, needlessly wordy and pseudo-intellectual stream of consciousness about why it is so great.

While you were studying the blade, I was learning about better recycling methods from Elidibus.
Conversely, there are people who do enjoy the story, despite its flaws, without needing to be drunk - either figuratively or literally. Such as myself. Was the story perfect? No. It's probably 3rd/4th in order of enjoyment (can't decide if I like EW or SB story more). I enjoy the EW story overall. There were some pacing problems and some problems with how it explained some things. But they weren't problems to a high enough degree to impact my enjoyment of the story. But I also realize that for some people, those problems do impact their ability to enjoy the story. At this point I'm convinced that 95% of the time you have no idea what you are talking about.

For context, the particular poster she is responding to is in the habit of coming here (but not only) to loudly proclaim how we're just a tiny minority, how it's the best story ever, that people just wub wub WUB <333, and this then spawns counter-reactions in equal force, while he jumps around the OF trying to constantly berate criticism of the game as "toxic" and just down to a handful of complainers. Thus he garners responses like that. Is this whole dynamic the most productive or conducive to civil discussion? No, but then neither are his posts, which is rather ironic since he is given to frequent tone policing and offering unsolicited advice on how to word posts, which he himself doesn't really follow. Were people to approach this as you do, this would be a lot less common.Conversely, there are people who do enjoy the story, despite its flaws, without needing to be drunk - either figuratively or literally.
