Sounds like a perfect paradise to me. No annoying perfect scions or annoying bratty twins? Sign me up!Technically you would have to put that as a fault of the Warrior of Light for telling Venat. As according to us, who was told by Elidibus, we can't change the events of the past if we want to properly return to our timeline. If Venat had done what you wanted her to do, there would be none of the people who currently exist in our timeline. There is no Thancred, no Y'shtola, no Ryne, no Alisaie, no Alphinaud, no Estinien, no Haurchefant, no Ser Aymeric. Among many other people.
Hydaelyn is evil because she committed mass genocide. End of discussion.

Oh boy a perfect society where nothing goes wrong.
/yawn
Addendum: God what a boring story about how everything just goes fine. There is no real conflict or problem. Even the writers knew that when they caused The Final Days. That realistically people only really care about a civilization like this because of the turmoil it went through and now by extension of how Venat dutifully followed the WoL's instructions on how to preserve the timeline.
Like this is the level of 'conflict' that happens in such a world:
Ono, this wind serpent can't fly.
Hey Hades, can you help coax this wind serpent to fly?
*hades does so and the wind serpent flies with ease*
Wow! I am glad we had Hades for that.

"Once upon a time there was an ancient civilization, where nothing bad ever truly happened, and the people just made monsters all day. The end."
^ if hermes never became depressed and had actually properlly filed the paperwork for his familiar instead of giving his familiar severe nihilism and depression. And had also never scarred his own soul with the mind-wiping device which tortured Fandaniel later on. And had also never wiped his friends memories for the sake of a 'headstart' for his nihilistic familiar.

The usual Ancient Derangement Syndrome at play, then. That explains that.
The Ancients are dead and forgotten. Get over it.

The thread will keep living on as people burn the candle of their post limits and keep it on the first page so random lurkers can happen along and perhaps think about things that didn't really occur to them before. Ahahahaha! This was all actually my plan!
Kairos, activate!

You ever think we will make any future trips to The Aitiascope to talk to some dead people for exposition or advice? I don't quite remember if there was some canon "You can only go there once" type deal. Though I am sure they won't allow us to go talk to the souls in the Aetherial Sea whenever we fancy.

That'd be cool, but highly doubt it. I'd gladly be proven wrong on that. You ever think we will make any future trips to The Aitiascope to talk to some dead people for exposition or advice? I don't quite remember if there was some canon "You can only go there once" type deal. Though I am sure they won't allow us to go talk to the souls in the Aetherical Sea whenever we fancy.
