When the game's story becomes self-aware:

Important to note that he's talking mostly to the japanese playerbase.
We're okay, they don't read the english forums.
Player

That may be true, but I don't think we should brush it off either. There are many people who are unreasonable online and don't think about the impact their words have on others people's lives, Japanese or not. It's a good reminder to us all to be civil and treat others as humans. Also, don't forget that there are some that work for SE in the Japanese offices that do speak English.

Feedback for this forum in is near pointless because all everyone does is get the pitchforks and torches ready.
Some feedback is legit but then you'll have someone say something then it devolves into some forum PvP battle and
I'm sure the devs give us the Emet wave and walk away because no one is civil enough and not wanting to bother sifting through the nonsense.

This is my point, I just quit reading if someone starts insulting players or devs it just doesn't interest me that much and even if they typed a paragraph of good feedback it's lost to me when the insults begin. It tells me one thing about the person posting they can not make a point without getting personal. So they point they make has no value to me. I would imagine anyone in any conversation (mostly) would turn off at that point, unless the person just wants to argue and be right even if they are wrong. That's how I see it. I repeat lazy is a derogatory term and if someone calls me that I take offense just like any normal person would.Feedback for this forum in is near pointless because all everyone does is get the pitchforks and torches ready.

Enjoy Life you only get one.
As I've stated in another topic(the "Everyone's so open and friendly" one to be specific)
While it isn't exactly worded for this one, the gist of it is the same. Be civil, realize they are human too, and think about how you would respond/react/feel if someone showed that much aggression towards you for something you spent many, many, hours working on.It's called have a civil discussion, or debate. You don't need a fight or argument to get our point across...if you do, you may want to revisit how you respond to different situations and adjust your attitude accordingly. Getting mad isn't the only option available to people.

FFXIV has gotten better with every expansion and that trend continued with EndWalker. Who are these whiners who say otherwise?
