I've been wondering where the official SE tech support people have been. Apparently they just up and quit to make a new user named Puss_Kat who joined the forums in Jan 2022 to go around posting nonsense on peoples legitimate threads about their technical issues. Issues that for a lot of us (myself included) did not exist until EW.

XIVLauncher is a non-official app, made by a modder, which does not work properly after Endwalker. Thats why she said it. The official launcher is "FFXIVLauncher".

Playing on dx9 stops these crashes for me, sadly it let's my audio pop alot and generally reduced my FPS BUT it's atleast not crashing randomly anymore!

The Moderators here are not tech support agents, they will take your report and add it to the list of unreproducable closed issues but they will not offer you any actual help for fixing the issue beyond a list of common fixes that has almost no fixes for the actual issues users experience commonly in these DX error threads.
