The New Raids Are Fun

In the midst of all of what has been going on, this raid tier has been quite a delight, so far.

While I am only nearing the end of P2S, I what I have experienced has been fun.
The particularly most interesting bits have been:

• I love the puzzling mechanic from P1S. The orange/blue/purple tiles mechanic was a fun puzzle to solve (simply).
• In both P1S and P2S (but more in P2S), we're seeing more creative uses of the arena. I have always felt like that was where raid design lacked the most, and this has been an outstanding improvement.
• Both tanks have had a meaningful role to play. It was nice seeing my co-tank having something to do (manage the secondary effects on P1S tankbusters + orange/blue/purple tiles movement).

While this tier may be frustrating to statics where someone disconnects, ending the night (I know, for my static, it's happened a couple times already), we understood that this was going to be inevitable. We understand the situation, and we'll deal with it. The tier isn't going away any time soon, and we all have faith, knowing everyone at SE is doing their best to help.

Thank you for all of your hard work, and I wanted you all to know that I am having fun.

Absolutely this. Though I am sometimes very annoyed at how sensitive it seems to be in the second fight, I dread using sprint because it might cause me to get that stupid DoT, I appreciate the fact that it's not just another square or circle.


that said, just a small thing, saying E1S and E2S refers to Eden 1 and Eden 2 Savage. For this raid tier it's P1S up to P4S since we're doing the Pandaemonium raid. Similarly, Alexander floors had A1S up to A12S, Omega had O1S up to O12S and so on...

They're fun but I am getting pretty upset at this point, the first Savage was fine, second Savage I think is easier than the first but this is the fourth time I've reached the end with a group and then I get an insane amount of lag to the point it's unplayable ( freezing, people teleporting etc ).
I just want to clear the second at least until tomorrow, but I always join a new group then I have to spend like 1-2 hours for people to learn and then when we finally get to the end it happens...
Fourth time today I am going insane, and it's only in FFXIV this happens I don't have lag issues in other games and it's just completely random but when it starts it doesn't end it just keeps happening.

I am getting pretty stressed out about it now and it's killing my motivation, I rly want to join a static but I feel like I can't because at any point the connection just decides that it doesn't want me to play anymore and it ruins things for everyone.
