Here is something that can throttle queue time dread... since queue times are a way of life at the moment, can we put something in place in the software that would allow people who unexpectedly and randomly (yet quickly) disconnect and reconnect be able to log back into the game without being thrown to the back of the queue? I seldom dc, and this time it was brief because of a quickly-passing over thunderstorm that is at this moment no longer over us.

Today at work, I could not fathom how there were an insurmountable amount of people surging the shopping centers everywhere. Now when I got home to enjoy some ff14, I'm doing the second to last role quest for endwalker, and we got a brief and quick moment where the lights in the house "browned out". It was quick enough that it fortunately did not turn my pc off, but it in fact threw my modem offline. My modem came back online, and you know the rest of the story. 2k queue at 5pm central. 2k queue at 2pm isn't so bad. At 5pm, nobody is logging off, so I'm dreading how much time is going to be spent waiting in queue before I'll ultimately have to make a choice between losing sleep for work again or just not doing that and instead, cutting the game time short and just telling myself "it'll all be over soon. After enduring another rush of customers tomorrow due to the football lovers in this state, i might soon be able to pick up where i left off on this story"
