The Fish gets away O.O??

Hi Everyone, this is my very first time posting a question into the Forum but I really have no one that could help me about it, tried to ask around in game and nothing :/. To give you context: I am a lvl 81 fisher, ilvl 473, gathering 1928 and perception 1571, in other words well equipped (I think?!) and a little experienced by now in fishing I had an issue today while ocean fishing, been doing it for the past 2 years and this has never happened I cast my rod and use Ragworm in Ciedalaes as per the guides, everyone also shouting that was the correct bait, etc and to my surprise THE FISH GETS AWAY! Do it one more time, same, do it for the next 2 minutes same! We get to the next zone, cast the correct bait; same O.O!!!!! no fish gets caught, I tried changing spots throughout the ship, nothing. Mind you, yesterday I participated on another ocean fishing journey, and everything was fine. The craziest part is I got out of ocean fishing and tried fishing in Limsa, also the same : fish gets away! I usually fish with Truth of Oceans & Fathom activated, tried deactivating, etc My inventory is also not full..... PLEASE HELP! I don't think this is a glitch, then what could it possibly be? I am so confused, would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help Thank you so much in advance

I just found out why xD, and btw this is a good situation if it ever happens to anyone else! I am usually playing on Extreme Trials and therefore prefer my settings with "Battle Effects Settings" "Show Limited". I had it turned on; on "Own" and that is why I was not able to see the exclamation point on top of the head O.O to be able to fish, just FYI Anyone if it ever happens to you, LOLOLOL!
