Are you talking about the level 89 dungeon? We got blue quality artifact armor at 89. That dungeon dropped accessories. Why did it need a dungeon set? Every expansion has reused previous dungeon and crafted sets. If they made a leveling 89 dungeon set people would have complained about wasted resources and that’s why they didn’t get (insert missing content here). They announced recently in a live letter the future of the game and updating armor quality/textures throughout 6.x series and into 7.0 They also have to work on other content other than cosmetics. I know glamour is important, but I’m ok losing a dungeon set so they can expand glamour plates, add dresser glamour space, etc

Whenever I get this comment I just can’t help but roll my eyes. The other races, who can wear all hairstyles and hats in the game have the audacity to act like they’d be so hard done by for not having Viera hair. Why don’t you Fantasia to a Viera if that’s the case? Oh wait- you don’t want to deal with the severe limitations, right? Why are you determined for Viera to constantly be “less than” your race? The developers made this crystal clear that both Hrothgar and Viera are too unique to be chucked into the same category as everyone else. These two races will NEVER be equal to the others in terms of headgear/potentially hairstyles so they deserve compensation for the limitations, just like SE originally said would happen. Deal with the divide and move on - maybe you’ll now think twice before begging SE for a new race when it’s obviously more work than they can handle. Let’s focus on what races we have now before requesting them to bring in new ones.

I want them to have new racial specific hairs. Since they can't wear like 98% of hats without the use of modding, they should absolutely have more unique hairstyles to them. the same for hrothgar. its okay if they have a few of the "basic hairs" but they do need and deserve special hairstyles just for them. bc imo anything that isnt mog station or specifically female, everything is some sort of ugly mullet, rpg hero hair, or anime hair. i wouldnt want viera /hrothgar to have those uninspired hairs.

Yes the 89 dungeon. Them giving us our relic gear at 89 doesn’t just make it right that we didn’t get an 89 dungeon gear set. At the very least since we didn’t get that they should have made the 87 dungeon gear set dyable, but they couldn’t even do that. They were able to add glamour space in ShB without getting rid of a dungeon gear set…

Have been much better cause "technical issues" with customization (whaa the mean furries want new hair. I actually have to model it? Fine <makes literally half a mod. HALF. And calls it a good enough day>) could have just as easly been handwaved and folk would have been a bit more willing to accept it due to the nature of the model.

Prices going up on Both Ways wish they showed all of the ones we're getting. I hope we get 6 more like with the xpac release. I just dropped a chunk of gil for it on Sophia but given the scarcity of items there what's left is going to skyrocket.

I hope the Hroths get some love cause I'm personally pretty happy with Viera additions. Now if they could work on some cool head gear/hat releases that would be sweet too.

Most of the team responsible for HW was moved to ff16 afaik, along with Yoshi also working on 16 and i believe Koji as well.

I think is due FF13 fiasco and the really mixed opinions on FF15. Since unfortunately many people doesn't consider the MMOs as true FF games, for them the last good FF game was 12 (16 years ago), so they need to make sure FF16 will be good and reestablish FF as a standard for the RPG genre.

Now on topic: while I'm happy for the new options for viera players, I'm really disappointed that they kept the earless wigs for us hroths. (maybe it is too late to remove from the data of the patch) And I'm also worried bc these new viera hairstyles may be the next ones adapted to hrothgar (and be earless again...)

All that said, this whole situation made me think on something: if the said fixed ears at the top of hrothgar heads are the problem for hairstyles, why they didn't just kept the FFX ronso elf like ears when developing the models? We would still look gigachad beast looking enough.

I believe those are for ear tufts, not the ears themselves.
