VIERA AND HROTHGAR COMPLAINT MEGATHREAD

Got to sadly say I gave SE my money for a fanta. I adore Viera, I do, but waiting for female Hrothgar (which are going to be limited, I understand) on another limited race is eating at me.

I really don't blame you, it does get too much and sometimes a break from restricted races is needed (Your character looks lovely btw).

I'm waiting for the live letter for the 18th of February but I doubt any questions in regards to Viera/Hrothgar will make it to Yoshi... I checked the 'Ask a question' thread and these two races aren't even mentioned until 15 pages in, the next time someone inquires about them is like page 26.

Honestly, I'd feel more at ease if a dev just dropped by this forum and said "Hey - saw this. It's not ignored"

Agreed, why should the majority be deprived of a well-designed attractive lioness race in favor of female roegadyn 2.0?

Just alot of us want them to follow suit that If the Male Hrothgar are gonna have Male Roe Bodies, then the Females Should also have FemRoe Bodies.
Consistency.

Plus, Lioness's in the Wild are Big and Tough like the Males, so we want that Replicated.
We aren't asking for FemRoe 2.0.
We want a good looking Tough 'Sexy' Female Counterpart to the 'Sexy' Bara Males

All we want is for them not to be Human-faced. Because then Whats the Point of making a "Beast Race" if you wont Commit to both Genders?
It'll kill the race because then its literally Miqote 2.0

However, I do wish there were more head pieces for my character to wear.

Never once wanted to Fantasia my Hrothgar, even for a moment. I wouldn't even if *I* were paid to do so. But, yes, I want to see more options for them, too.

You say '' we '' but there is no actual legit statistics on this and what people want, going by current races tho and their popularity chances are what most people want doesn't align with what you want here tbh.
Just going by the forums isn't a good idea either to get a good view of this.
Whether it's official forums or subreddits they're infamous for not actually aligning with the average player at all a lot of devs for other games have acknowledged this.
I know that Riot has before, their subreddit isn't an accurate representation of the results they get on widespread surveys and research at all or what they actually see reflected in the game from the players.

And Au'Ra being similar didn't kill the race.
If anything it'd actually make it more popular if it's '' Miqo'te 2.0 '' if we're being a bit real here.

Highlander body, maybe scaled up a bit, would make FHrothgar more appealing due to having a more feminine body shape while being more muscled/built.

I personally do like femroes, and I think they definitely can look good, so there are possibilities that could work imo. Also in regards to Hroths sharing the base Roe model, it is lore consistent now because in Bozja the descendent of Gunnhildr is a Roegadyn, so they must be relatively closely linked.

Then again, I'm also of the opinion that none of the races they've added since the beginning are really "good." Au Ra are hit or miss, Viera are blatantly oversexualized and have the helmet/hat issue, and Hrothgar are fairly bland and also have some design issues. The game really just needs a character customization overhaul.

It would make Female Hrothgar more popular, absolutely. But still Miqo'te 2.0 isn't necessary and it wouldn't make sense.. We have plenty of stereotypically attractive races, a whole variety of them. The only people in the community who haven't been catered to are those who wish to play an actual beast-like female race. At this point we shouldn't want them to be Miqo'te 2.0 for the sake of popularity, we should want a race that fits with the Male Hrothgar, so at least everyone in the community has a race that appeals to them, whether it be a minority or majority.

I'm gonna repeat what I said in a previous thread.

A lot of people who want traditionally attractive races don't want a majority of the options.

They want every single option.

And then openly say 'don't cater to the minority, it'll be a waste of money' and immediately pat themselves in the back afterwards.

I'm absolutely certain they'll caterwaul if fem hrothgars don't look extremely human with little patches of fur and different ears.

Considering female Ronso already exist in FFX, I'll be sorely disappointed if they go the "fem Miqo but taller" route and frame it as some sort of bizarre dimorphism between the two genders, and I don't even play Hrothgar.
