It's never going to happen. They just don't want to admit it. So they lie with the "we're working on it" deflection whenever it's brought up.

This graphics update and release of Hrothgals was really their last chance to show us it will ever get done. It's not.

This is most likely the reality, they never intended on finishing these 2 races. But I know what they will do, they will tout making tiny hats that sit on viera's foreheads as a "8.0 feature" at the next fanfest.

I've ran out of hope regarding hats. I'd be ecstatic if they actually added them, but I just don't see it ever happening. :/

Also, just wanna vent a little bit: I'm annoyed by the fact that they haven't fixed the face-hair issue that's been plaguing Hrothgar players since ShB.

They could at least resolve that already. It's messed up that Hrothgar players have to pay IRL money if they want to wear an exclusive hairstyle that's locked to a particular face.

I was hoping they'd fix it when Hrothgals were added, but nope. Unless they're waiting for a 7.x patch, but eh, I'll have to see it to believe it.

They were not going to get head items at all, yet (allegedly) some devs worked overtime because they knew people would be upset.

They likely also never even intended to have both genders, yet here we are with male Viera and female Hroth.

Hroths were apparently never getting more hairstyles, then the earpocalypse happened and we're getting more and more universal hairstyles.

Point is, as entitled as it may sound, being loud and making a tantrum does work, it just needs to be big enough of a scoop.

No unlockable hairstyles supported at Dawntrail launch it seems. I held out hope but apparently it's still deemed acceptable to release a new racial option in this state.
I think my Fantasia is just going to sit there in the login screen for 2-4 more years until they actually have parity with everyone else. Limited race.

I’m kind of fed up by this hat situation too.
I don’t use hat THAT often but tbh, I just like to know I have the choice to wear them in game.
You pay the same subscription as everyone else but you don’t have the same access to the service. It’s bothering.

And, like many people have already said here, SE is making good profit on fantasias because of the state of Hroth and Viera races…

Yeah…. Sh*t is piling up.
I’m glad they added so many older hairstyles since the races came out but there is still many work to do…

And to add, since this have been pointed: Imo, biggest insult to Hroth and Viera would be giving our racial hairstyles to others without giving us headgear.

Booted up the expansion, my character couldn't use any of the new AF gear I've run into yet, multiple expansions after the race was created.
Come on what are you guys doing? You're making gear over and over again that certain races can't use.

SE, YOU are the ones designing this gear, design gear that doesn't have limitations like this.

Very sad to put on yet another new hat with yet another built-from-scratch model that is not visible on my Hrothgar. I've given up on having everything from before ShB be backported, since I know it takes a lot of effort, but when they make brand new hats but then deliberately exclude us it makes these races feel like an afterthought compared to the catgirls and femras of the world.

I like going into a new expansion where the new character is of a race where I know she can't wear all the hats of her own country. Really makes me excited to spend more money on this game
