VIERA AND HROTHGAR COMPLAINT MEGATHREAD

I was excited seeing glam after glam work on Hrothgar, but seeing the hood glam not being visible just killed my excitement. :x

Just don't take things working as a sign that other things will work. It's not about them getting more attentive over time; it's purely about whether it fits the unchanging criteria of hairstyle visibility.

I admit, I did roll my eyes when the hood glam didn't work. It was just fun to see (not see).

Incredibly disappointing they keep making rewards that viera can't use. It's been how many years that these races have been in the game? And some of the new PvP gear isn't even usable by them.

I don't get it, why would you make gear that a chunk of your player base can't use as a reward? They keep doing this update after update.

They're still being lazy with the new PvP gear. Nobody cares about clipping. Just let people wear the headgear.

I was honestly surprised but then I saw that hair was sticking out and was no longer surprised. It is a shame mostly because there are very few hoods ingame that work for viera/hrothgar and those are locked to jobs, while this would have been one to use on every job.

Considering we're progressively getting the default hairstyles, which should be complete by ~7.3 or so, I'd say there's hope Hroth and Viera could wear all hats like everyone else by 8.0

It's a big assumption, but I always thought that by Dawntrail's launch hroths and vieras would be able to wear all the hairstyles. Since they'll have to redo the textures it makes sense to just finish the job there. We'll know when the benchmark comes but that's still a ways off.

So we got more graffix update info post-keynote and I hope every hroth and viera enjoyer is so pleased that the dev team is FINALLY....making every blade of grass in the game look super hi-def for 3 gposers on twitter rather than finally allow two races that have (or will have by next summer) been here for 5 years use the entire headpiece gearslot.
Please look forward to another two years of dinky circlets and hoods-that-totally-remove-hair and online store headpieces you have to get but cant wear with your full purchase.

Like for real. The character and gear texture updates are nice but updating every pebble and dirt patch in the game was by no means necessary.

Do what I did! Get drunk, it will numb the pain and make it less insulting.
I feel bad for bun boys, especially with their eye problem, one is bulging out of their skull and the other is sunken in (zoom in and zoom out probably). All the while they had to show how they darkened by 0.0000000000002% the Au'Ra horns (The one race which everyone unanimously agreed that they had the best glow-up). Oh, you wanted to see some hats for the only races you have to pay money for? HA, good one, here is an image of the 2 extra polygons added to a Lalafell's chin that we will fixate on for the next 20 minutes cause the shadows are being a Tsundere today (It's not like I want to look natural or anything, baka!), you're welcome!
What's that? The new limited job, Deep Dungeon, exploratory zone, 8-man raid, THE OTHER ZONES? What are you crazy? Here's a dog that you can digitally pet. Now that is what you paid 200£ for!

I think I might be so used to expecting very little before the final trailer or benchmark that I can't bother to get upset about it. Or maybe it's the oncoming head cold taking up too much energy. Either is possible.
