I play since StB, and giving up on things is certainly a way to cope and a personal choice I won’t argue with. But calling people delusional for expecting to deliver on promises made and an equal treatment between races - is not helping anyone.

Is there actual text or direct quotes of them saying, "hey we are going back on our decision and making all hats available for viera/hrothgar", or at least at minimum: "All future hats available". I'd like to actually see Yoshida state that, rather than head adjustments that people think allude to that. Yoshida has stated on multiple occasions no hats, but perhaps I am wrong! I haven't followed the news that closely since partway through EW, when I gave up even bothering anymore.

What you can expect from CBU3 is the bare minimum. If anything will actually require some effort, or time, it isn't going to happen most of the time. And that is ignoring all the other issues that aren't relevant here.

Which brings the question - what assets if not the hair or the headpieces? Especially something that was not possible before with all them being separate. And if it for some reason animation - then why not call it that? I can’t speak for hrothgars, but viera definitely got remodelled and unified. And for what then? Being upset and disappointed that all that was not even for getting access to the _new_ gear at the very least - seems pretty natural to me.

Honestly? The only thing I personally expected was not having my character getting worse after the update, but even that was shuttered (looking at male vieras especially). But I still think voicing problems is important. If people have the strength for it - let them be instead of discouraging.
And on that note - I don’t know how CBU3 operates. The whole SE had a pretty big restructure recently, so now it is even less clear what to expect.
