Just funny to me that bunnies are being called out on "big forehead lol" when Thancred himself has a forehead exactly the same size in the same hairstyle during Heavensward.



Same goes for other races. This is just what the cut looks like.



If there is any difference between buns and select other races it's eyebrow height, not forehead. Viera naturally have low hairlines so some face combinations tend to have lower eyebrow lines, and even that isn't consistent from face-to-face depending on brow arch.

Viera faces also look very squished together

More of a request than a complaint, but I still wish Hroths could get the 'face exclusive' hairstyles unlocked for all. Truth be told, I would've been happy with just that, though I do appreciate that we're getting both new and old hairstyles every patch all the same.

id be we see more non-lion faces if they did that, part of the reason i was a lion face hrothgar was them having the best hairstyles

see if they werent sitting on their thumbs for 2 years of shb they shouldve had this fixed by 5.01 why would ever create a player race and disallow it from using its own hair for gods sake.
I'd def main the "Radovan" face2 hair on my face1gar its very good and probably the style Id use most until Styled amd Windcaller are available

To add insult to injury there were a handful of Hroths with mixed face+hair combos in Bozja, which many thought was a hint they'd be unlocked for all faces, but alas...

I keep my fingers crossed though, maybe by the time we're up to date with the universal hairstyles....in 7.4 or so /inhale hopium

Probably the same people who thought Hroth players would be ok with having a whopping 2 hairstyles to chose from like, ever, and need to Fantasia to change between them to boot

I don't think it was ever something that anyone "came up with", but something they thought was a necessary sacrifice to allow for other parts of their concept vision to be realised.

They wanted customisable fur pattern. To get customisable patterns they took over what would normally be the hairstyle menu, and had to attach hairstyles to faces instead. One step flowing to another and resulting in the weird aspects of the design.

I can't wait until they update character creation. I wouldn't be so bothered if there was a free version of fantasia available for Hrothgar players to get around the limited hairstyles issue (without having to resort to mods).

Not to get everybody's hope up for nothing, but I believe they gave a sneak peak of Hrothgar hairstyles being unlocked across faces (or at least more being made universally available across the 4 faces.) They previewed a face 3 Hrothgar with the shoulder-length hairstyle currently locked to face 2. You can see the dramatically curled, upward tilted ears that are unique to face 3. Seems to be the case to me. I'm no Hrothgar connoisseur, of course, but that's the conclusion I reach with that pic.
