in fact, it wouldn't be that complicated. Most boots already have heels, and the rest would have to be a bit of work to adapt existing shoes.

Nothing too complicated, we have examples of MMORPGs smaller than FFXIV that made it happen. Another example of a large MMORPG that manages to do this is WoW, where it has characters with paws, hooves, monstrous feet, and even skeletal ones.

Also, like many other things already mentioned, the community has already made vieras and hrothgars have paws, and adapted a series of shoes for them.

Really? That actually makes me feel even more sad. If we can't get hats, it would nice to at least get paws (and claws) for V/H. Didn't they promise unique features for both to make up for the lack of hats? I may have misinterpreted what they meant.

They could add the option of having paws or not. I would buy a fantasia just to change those ridiculous feet into paws as it should have been.
