They better have fixed a lot of stuff with Hrothgar and released female Hrothgar with 7.0, else they're going to see a LOT of outrage. I think everybody in the playerbase would call them out on it if we don't see female Hrothgar, since we'd have been without our other gender for 3 expansions now.

I'm not saying this is the right perspective but to be perfectly frank Hrothgar is not a popular race and I don't think the females are going to be significantly more popular. There will certainly be outrage, but 70% of this game's playerbase uses the same race (fem Miqo) and most don't give much thought to the woes of Hrothgar or even Viera. Again, I am not saying this is MY perspective but most of my friends didn't even know Hrothgar couldn't use all their racial hairstyles or even that they originally had to use a fantasia to change even minimal features of their character. People just don't know as much as you might think, and on top of that they don't really care to find out.

All this said, I'm sure female Hrothgar will launch in 7.0 and we will get a trailer at fanfest along with the first trailer reveal for the expansion. They aren't going to say anything beforehand. They never do.

There's basically going to be not major updates to either race, the other poster is high on copium that SE actually cares about a race they have spent basically no time in the last 4 years giving updates to. 7.0 being the fix for both races is only the popular narrative now because it used to be 6.0 was going to be the patch to fix viera and hroths. Look how that turned out, majority of AF headgear unusable, majority of raid headgear unusable, majority of reward headgear unusable, a handful of 5-6 year old headgears everyone else is done with. Don't expect much with 7.0. It'll hurt less when SE underdelivers again and leaves these races as feature incomplete for the next 2+ years.

Uh, I think you have too much faith in the average playerbase. Unless female Hrothgars are sexy, most people simply aren't going to care. That said, we'll have to see, I don't see 7.0 as some magic fix to all the game's issues. In fact, I'm expecting a much more toned down reset of sorts. Whether or not female Hrothgars are part of it remains to be seen. Here's hoping though.

They update them more than every other race every major patch, so yes, I see no reason why that won't continue. There is a clear trend and it hasn't been interrupted by anything so far. I am not on copium of any kind. I watched almost everything I wanted for my character get added over the course of this expansion. Other people, however, are on serious Doomium and that is just as bad if not worse.

I think my satisfaction does rely a lot on the fact that I don't give half a heck about hats. Headgear is not the be-all-end-all for me. If it was I wouldn't be playing Viera, lmao.

Yeah I get taht from the fact you show up in every thread giving feedback about lack of headgear or features on viera just to tell everyone else to shut up and praise SE for doing less than the bare minimum to update the races they made.

If this is what you read from anything I said I don't know what to say. I have never once told anybody to "shut up". Never, ever.

What I (and Iscah, clearly) try to do is maintain facts vs. fiction. Someone needs to come in and remind everybody that their versions of events are not always accurate. There are soooo many inaccuracies people try to push as reality that conversations become circle-jerks.

What you both do is come in and tell people upset about a lack of features that they're entitled for expecting features that are standard on every other class and have been provided in days or weeks by modders. Just running PR and shilling for SE for free. Half of the people doing this don't even play viera, or claim that they totally have one on their alt.
What you're doing is hugboxing and trying to shut out valid criticism because it doesn't make you feel all warm and fuzzy when someoen criticizes Yoshi-P or the developers in front of you. It adds nothing to keep coming into threads giving valid criticism and telling people to shut up and that "it'll all be fixed in 7.0 just wait".

I've never said any of this so whatever you're posting here has to be about somebody else. You're completely fabcricating a boogeyman. I've never mentioned YoshiP, I've never told anybody to shut up, I've never told anybody to stop criticizing. This is all completely made up. I don't care at all if you criticize - criticize away, but please stick to facts. We do not know what will come in 7.0 (and yes, it absolutely will not be the cure-all to end all problems with the game.) All I do is try to clarify inaccuracies. "They'll never update these races" is a pretty disingenuous thing to say when they've been updating them all expansion.

For the record I expressed my disappointment 2 hours ago that a few hairstyles I wanted were not added in this patch. I am also disappointed that updates have felt few and far between whether there is a clear pattern or not. I do not believe it has to be 100% one way or the other.

So if you're only accusing two people then that makes me the "half"? I certainly do have a Viera alt. You can see I have both characters registered on my EC profile.
