VIERA AND HROTHGAR COMPLAINT MEGATHREAD

Not too add to much fuel to the fire but based on the press tour, there appears to be a male miqo NPC who has the male viera hairstyle.
They better not be considering porting our hairstyles to other races before we even get all of the mogstation glams and hairstyles.

They also like to randomly put non-viera females in viera female cpose 3... Gaia, Random Event npcs, the Tataru Boutique vendor in a Grand endeavor cutscene, Y'shtola.

And now coming for a hairstyle from the males..

The Viera mimicry is getting worse.

Plus that means that amidst the undertaking that is the graphical update someone has deigned to develop viera male hair for a catboi and stuff him in the world. Kind of misspent resources when you consider all the broken things in the benchmark across the board.

We already had an NPC in post-endwalker raids using Male Viera hair 1.

Like, it's been YEARS. We have new gear made from ground up and they still do not work on Hroth/Vieras. WHAT is the deal?

I know they put some other priorities like the Graphics Update, but even M.Viera and F.Hroth came later and still cannot use hats??

Maybe they want to do it all in once, or maybe QA is nagging on them. But there's no real reason to not have it. If they hired someone back when ShB launched, and taught them how to model, I'm sure today we'd have most if not all working.

It's tiring, really.

We have 3 choices here.

1. Create hat-versions of the racial hairstyles and viera ear-friendly versions of hats that require it
2. Every new headpiece is either a circlet, hair clip, fascinator, mask, eyepatch, glasses, or some kind of smooth shape that fully hides your hair.
3. Or a mix of styles, where they just don't display any helms with odd shapes or hats that require a secondary hair model.

They seem to be determined for 3, though supposedly they might be working on 1??????

I would, but I post alot of glams and in basically every single group out there, mods arent allowed so I have to switch it off anyway.

I'll never switch from Viera, but it's frustrating for them to not even put in the slightest effort for us.

Understand, if you're viera 1 pixel clipping through a hat would cause a calamity.

For what it's worth the new AF DNC gears headpiece clips through au ra horns......So I don't think they thought of anyone but middies... :P

Then that's even sillier they use clipping as an excuse for us not being able to use the headgear. They seem to have different standards for viera than anyone else when it comes to gear.

Also the fact that there were exactly 0 questions in the media tour about this and 0 update on this other than an unofficial off-hand comment about "please be patient" really makes me think they're trying to see how long they can put it off before viera players get angry enough to make it a priority.
