For the most part they seem to be working down the list by how they're numbered, while the Modern Aesthetics has more random jumps. There's a version for the female hairstyles floating around somewhere as well but I can't find it right now.

I found the female version and have been ticking off the hairstyles vieras have gotten. It looks to be the ponytail and/or the wavy hairs next, yes. Modern aesthetics Idk, could be any. I am hoping for the plait or styled for hire.

What disappointment? Where are you getting your list from that only counts Modern Aesthetics styles?

Viera have gotten six new styles with each patch, whether that involves MA or freely available styles. They didn't get five the first time and then less in subsequent updates.

No no. The three im counting are hairs people have to work for or buy. The 3 styles mviera can use in CC have generally been very disappointing to look at, with 6.2s styles being offensively bad.
Id rather them do Modern Aesthetics over Character Creation first bc most of those styles are hair options people generally like or else have to pay real moneycash for in the online store.

That seems to be the case. They want to make the stuff you can unlock available for everyone. We did, after all, spent an entire expansion wondering why new stuff doesn't come suited for us. Most egregious example being the Lyon hair, since it comes in content that gives a spotlight to Hrothgars.

What I wonder now though are three things.

1 - Will future hairstyles fit us? Or will we be in a constant catch-up climb?
2 - Will the same apply to headgear? Do we need to clamour more for that?
3 - Will, when all's said and done, newer hairstyles also be made with our frame in mind? Because I feel like the answer to Iscah's "Whether you personally approve of them or not" is tied to the fact that there aren't that many hairstyles that fit Hrothgar heads and faces as well as they would humanoid faces.
And while I'm all up for personal expression, those tend to be niches who work really hard to make it work. I feel like they should also make hairstyles that can fit us. And they don't have to make them unique either, the Lyon hairstyle works fine, so too does Styled for Hire. Just saying, we need more like that than Long Hair With Pigtails #451.

I think most Modern Aesthetics would look really awful on Hrothgar, with a large proportion of them being cute or feminine hairstyles. All the remaining hairstyles I'm interested in are from CC.
I also disagree that real money hairstyles should get priority since I'd rather not have the only good options we'll ever get this expac be gated behind a paywall.

That's an understandable sentiment, but on the other end you have people who buy outfits from the Store, spend tangible extra money, and now find that part of their purchase was for nothing because they can't even use it.

I'm really looking forwards to Styled for Hire and Lyon's hairstyle, that would look so good on hroths! Gyr Abanian Plait would also look great, if we have those 3 I'm set!
