Yeah, I'm anticipating both versions of that hair (middle part and fringe) plus the basic ponytail. Maybe one more if they count the first two styles as one, which they may - they were added in the same patch. They already skipped the headband style because it would have clipped irreparably with ears. Miqos don't have access to it either for this reason + they already moved on in the hairstyle list without implementing it, so my educated guess is that one will never be ported to Viera. Just like the "bald" styles.

As for the modern aesthetics I don't know what the third will be. Saintly Style and Adventure are confirmed. The third could be any random wild card. I haven't noticed any pattern. My money is on a popular style like Plait or Form, but it could be something like the Bozja mullet or the other pvp hair.

As for what base game hairs Hroth get it will be Jesus cut with the forehead band, Atoriel's and the one in the preview. Modern aesthetics will be Both Ways, Rainmaker (as seen in the preview) and Fashionably Feathered.

I thought about it, the sidecut one is probably quite hard to transfer to viera bc of the ears positions, I agree. The hairband shouldnt be that hard though...? If they did the nier one?

If I remember it right in 6.1 Virea got:
- Dreadlocks
- The loose braid one
- The 2 ponytails at the back one
- The Rain Maker
- Both Ways
- Basic

Some of these look really nice on Viera so I am curious how they will look on Hrothgar.

The braid, ponytails and dreads are female exclusive, these are the male equivalents Hrothgar will (probably?) get.

Yeah they did do the Nier one, kinda poorly though and they probably thought so as well because like Caro said they skipped over it in the release order to the next in line.

Yeah, there's a HUUUUGE pile of short hairstyles shared between all the races/genders added between 2.0 and 4.0. A few are cute (double side fade) but most of them aren't memorable. We're nearing the conclusion of the universal hairstyle list a majority of Vieras probably care about having access to, which is a good thing. There are still a pile of Modern Aesthetics including a bunch of Mogstation hairstyles that need to be adapted to Viera, but I think we will be done with the highly requested styles before 7.0. There really aren't many left on either front.

I hope we get Wind Caller soon (Tuesday?) because that is one I know Hrothgars desperately want and the sooner Viera get it the sooner we know when Hrothgar will get it.

Hurrah to a better selection of hairs for Hrothgar! Sure, they're the Viera hairs from 6.1, but the quality is getting better.

Don't get sloppy, SE! You're on the right track.

I'm also glad that I farmed Saintly Style from that tombstone event a while back. I don't know if it'll look good on my Viera, but it's worth trying it out.

Edit: Just realized during my lunch break that I could've made a "Sloppeh!" joke, and now I'm disappointed in myself.

Absolute meme hours today; there are more than a handful of comments on the Hroth/Viera hair update complaining about how catgirls, hyurs, etc. haven't had enough hairstyle focus and they're putting too much time into buns and lionmen. Worse - they're begging for Viera exclusive locked hair and have been for a while. Frigging excuse me? We had to wait 3 years to use new Modern Aesthetics or even default hairstyles, yet apparently it's now the bulk of the playerbase (that has access to absolutely everything) wanting Viera hairstyles? Like yeah, I agree Viera has some racial exclusives that are a hell of a lot better than entire list of catgirl exclusives. I wouldn't even care if they shared the full list among all races one day, but this complaint just ain't it. Amusing though, I'll give it that.
