Probably the same guy who thought the Karen Hairstyle or 2Peanut were valid options for Hrothgar. Chopping off our ears and then re-adding them with a crappy texture mesh around them to rub salt in the wound was just an added bonus on the spit they threw our way. Really, pigtails aren't my thing either, but it's better than what we got... You want to experience actual neglect, go Hrothgar.

Caro178 is right, the number of hairstyles have significantly increase for Viera.
And there's still more being added each patch with both old and new hairstyles made to fit Viera.

If that was coming from a Hrothgar player i would understand since they lack access to a ton of hairstyles. You do not as a Viera.

The only part of your rambling that made senses is the lack of hat which is appealing that it is still in this state.
New head gears should be made with both races in mind.

I agree with RukoBoshi, Caro178 is right: Viera have a lot more Hairstyles now than when they've started. And they will continue getting more and more as time goes on. Why hasn't Square just outfitted Viera with every possible hairstyle yet? Don't know, probably has to do with why they're not updating all their other content. But dismissing that fact is disingenuous. So you don't like your options because they're "fugly", would you rather have no option at all again? Would you prefer it if they cut off your ears? Re-added them with glitches?

At least you guys haven't been given truly bullshit answers from the development team. Now, I don't know why headgear hasn't been retrofitted to suit you guys. We could spend thread pages theorizing on why, and frankly we've already done that twice now. But one thing is certain. It will come, eventually, especially if you show your support for it like you have been all this time. But that still won't be a guarantee. Hrothgars had the support of an entire fanbase who got together and acknowledged our hairstyle problem was trash, and we still were handwaved away with a glitchy solution. I personally hope goes differently for Viera and their headgear, but that can only happen if you don't attack your own.

He's not preaching, he's not got a personal opinion, he's stating a fact. A fact that an entirely different race to yours cannot enjoy the same way you can. A fact that by dismissing it, you're giving not just the devs the wrong impression, but also the rest of the community. "Wake up"? YOU wake up and understand what the reality is.

Please, Viera players, don't stand against eachother. You should be united, especially when half the fanbase calls you whiny and dismisses your complains at every turn. Don't go at eachother's throats just because you disagree. You'd be validating those who stifle your own feedback.

I created a Hrothgar for experiment and gods, aside the abysmal hairstyle choice (only 1 default hairstyle for every type of hrothgar without any ), it feels really weird only having voice 2 that does not sound too deep or brutish?

Although voice 2 sounds someone from an anime that just constantly mocks you for being poor or unskilled, I can't tell who is the voice actor for that since it feels familiar...

You know, I really don't mind the stuff they added this patch. Island Sanctuary wasn't meant to be blitzed through it and it's clearly a work in progress. Hildibrand quests are their usual thing where they try to live up to their former comedy but kinda can't... The rewards are whatever, really, for the most part I didn't expect we'd get anything major out of all this. And the criterion dungeon's cute. It's cute.

But what does bother me is how they promised a bit more for Viera, a bit more for Hrothgar. We got Male Vieras (with the exact same issues, slay queen). And we got chopped off ear--I mean glued-back-on ears with a weird mesh. And the most awkwardly picked hairstyles possible for Hrothgar.

Sooo... about that budget. Great you guys are coming together and really pushing your limits when it comes to expressivity in cutscenes. It's clear that the animation quality for the Hildibrand quests was something Square Enix had an interest in. But didn't you forget someone, Square?

We could have had all the slapstick we had in Heavensward and Stormblood, they didn't need this much expressivity botoxed into them. You know what we did need? For you guys to hurry up and fix your goddamn races. The ones people have been asking you to fix and even got upset when you all but told them that you weren't paying attention. "Your reaction surprised us" my front bottom. We don't need glitter, we need you guys to pull yourselves together. We're due a graphics rehaul that from the looks of it is going to overlook us. We're insecure in the idea that the fact that so little attention is being provided toward us is going to translate into all these issues persisting in 7.0 forward. And worse is that you're planning on bringing in a new race while this is still going on, multiplying your problems.

That money'd be better spent building up the faith with your players that you've been losing since before the expansion launched (remember? Delaying Early Access so close to its launch and then handwaving connectivity issues like the fault didn't lie on you?). Not to make ha ha funny man contort in new ways.

But I know that doesn't net you in money, so why bother, eh?

I know this is confrontational, but like ... Shadowbringers came out in July of 2019. It has been well over three years and Square Enix still has been unable to bring their "new" races to parity on Hats/Head items, and frankly that is extremely absurd. You aren't a small indie developer. You're a multi-billion dollar organization. I understand that time and money are not unlimited, but it is truly mind boggling for this to still be happening this late into the lifespan of Viera and Hrothgar; and the game as a whole.

Get it together, folks. There shouldn't be *any* head gear that comes out that doesn't work with Viera and Hrothgar at this point, *especially* not on sets that you have to pay real world money for. It's also extremely confusing because the Fat Cat set works with Viera and Hrothgar! They're similar headpieces to the Far Northern one that just came out!
