I really dont see why they cant develop for male hrothgar NOW, we all know femgar are gonna have small dainty female heads that are perfectly human shaped anyway, no reason to put off male hrothgar updates another two years.
(We dont KNOW know but considering bozja used femroe as a shoddy crap excuse stand-in for femgar and female roe are barely bigger than female highlander, and considering male hrothgar use a maleroe base for everything, lets put two and two together)

Wish I knew the answer to that. But sadly we don't really have insight on the graphic team's work flow. It's entirely possible that they are just waiting on releasing female hrothgar so they can work on both male and female hairstyles at the same time for the sake of efficiency. While I think the body will be somewhat like female roegadyn, I think their headshape will be similar to male hrothgar. I'm thinking the ear placement in particular will be roughly the same. It's entirely speculation, but some of the recently added hrothgar hairstyles seemed like really odd choices. Suspiciously kind of feminine. I could be totally wrong about this but perhaps the graphics team was working on fitting hairstyles on female hrothgar and decided to adjust the hair to fit on a male while they were at it, too.

Not to be that guy, but max height femroe towers over max height fem highlanders by an entire foot. They're also slightly taller than max height male au ra by like two inches.

The only race taller than them is their male counterparts, and only by three inches.

true all true but now compared the femroe to her male counterpart: like a third as stout and lacking a box-shaped head on her neck.
I dont think it unreasonable to thereby assume femgar will, vis-a-vis using the femroe template for their models, will not have similarly shaped heads, thereby demanding different structures for their hairstyles.
It could be the overall shape as a male hrothgars but likely be smaller because they want femgar to appeal to the primary demo that matters, and the demo that, lets not lie to ourselves, largely plays femmiqo or femra: straight guys.

We wouldn't be getting digitigrade feet, so hey, at least our shoes are safe.

no.
If they do 1 thing the dev team cant be expected to do 2 things.
If hrothgar and viera get their helm slot unlocked then the 0.01% of players who do Ultimates might not get an ultimate that patch ;_; (reminder as of January 2022 only 5100 players worldwide completed the last three ultimates. at 2.3% of the player base, hrothgar outnumber ultimate players by 100x and yet for 6.1 hrothgar got a punch in the throat and ultimate players got the greatest raid evarz 0w0!!!23!!!)

I fucken regret going from lala to viera. Its dog shit we cant wear hats and we have limited hair styles. Im probably gonna go back to being a smol potatoe before 6.2 where i can finally wear hats again and change hairstyles i have. I thought i was okay with them cant wear hats but its starting to bother me lmfao
