Mine is skipping dialogue and story when I played ff14 on the playstation. I really missed out on a lot. So now on PC my Main is doing everything they can and taking it slow. While my alt is focused more on endgame stuff.

I look longingly at the days when my retainers would bring in 1-2 million in gil per day from gathering, even with bots running rampant on the system.
I should have spent most of that time omnicrafting my own gear rather than buying it off of the Market Board, although it was mostly cheaper than buying from a vendor.
Not at all! I enjoyed my time during 1.0/2.0 a lot!
Making a series of choices that led me to abandon all the rewards that I got with my first ever character in this game. Now, I play a new character that doesn't have certain things, and sometimes I missed having them, but I don't have the desire to reacquire them.
That said, I'm still fine with (and prefer) having limited account-wide rewards. I do like that each character is different in that way.
Biggest one I got is deleting my 1.0 character. 1.0 players here will feel my pain because that meant the deletion of my legacy tattoo as it was bound to the character and not the account.
I regret not trying out tanking earlier. The tankxiety was keeping me from trying out those jobs.
Eventually, when I went to level those jobs for the Amaro, I realized that I had nothing to fear.
I was shocked at how much easier and how less stressful tanking was than healing or dps.
Nearly every dungeon is just a long hallway, so there's no possibility of me getting lost. All I had to do was pull everything to the wall, cycle my cooldowns, and the runs were quick.
When early access for endwalker arrived, I even decided to level as tank due to the influx of sages and reapers who would be inflating healer/dps queue times.
Eventually, I got the confidence to tank both extremes and to prog savage as tank.
It also helps that the "barbarian" theme is ubiquitous enough that it is socially acceptable for my roe to run around shirtless, wearing nothing but a loincloth.
You also missed getting a unique intro cinematic when starting back up with that character, and unique cinematic throughout the game. Such as the Scions eventually getting their memory back of you being their friend in 1.0, Minfilia immediately recognizes you though.
I now wish I hadn't demolished my medium house when I didn't need it. There had always been quiet patches in expansions where a few plots just sat open. I didn't predict the population doubling last summer and them making a lottery system that's going to make getting a bigger house more difficult.

I forgot the login and account information for the account that has my 1.0 character sitting on it.
I refused to reinstall the dumpsterfire that was 1.0 to get my goob bongo.
