You have to consider other server's queues. Some are still very long.

then they could just restrict character creation to certain servers for now.

I barely have to queue now, haven't seen a queue above 100 for a couple of weeks now. they should be okay to reopen sales.

They should reopen sales and new characters can only be created on your server then. I am sitting in a 3k queue right now, keep them away from my server.

If they restricted it certain servers then people would complain and want a refund for not being able to join thier friends server.

better than closing it off completely, not everyone will want to be on friends server, some just want to play the game.

Twintania gets high queues around 7-10pm. It may just be that you're getting on early or around midnight.

Last night around 10:30(22:30) I had a queue of 1077.

I think they said in an interview they should have be able to comment on it sometime next week.
