I got some friends who wants to join this game but can't atm cause of the current non sales.

No ETA and it won't happen until the queues across all worlds die down. Given many like my own still get 3K+ around prime time... It would have been crummy to keep sales going when they still can't get the parts they need to set up more servers. The data centre they'll be implementing next is Oceania, so after that happens, adding servers elsewhere can be addressed.

Won't happen until they can get more servers setup and that will be awhile with the shortage.

I don't think it will happen before Ishgard Housing is all bought up. That's going to be a queue horror even worse than patch day.

It depends on how fast queues die down.

I barely have to queue now, haven't seen a queue above 100 for a couple of weeks now. they should be okay to reopen sales.

You have to consider other server's queues. Some are still very long.

It's tough to say. Some servers, such as my own, have virtually no queue at all even on the weekend or in prime time. A "bad" queue for me lately has been maybe 80+ people, so it' resolves in a minute or two at most. Some servers still see thousands and an actual wait. It's definitely not evenly distributed so it depends a lot on exactly what numbers they are looking at. I would say they could definitely reopen sales now but make sure to heavily limit new character creation.
