I quit WoW shortly before FFXIV launched their free trial thing.
At that point, the game had been god-awful for nearly 3 years in my opinion, and I couldn't take it anymore.
But there are people who still enjoy it.

LOL I shouldn't laugh but that scene is funny as hell. Someone most likely has already made a meme out of that scene about blizzard.they literally did the milk scene from The Boys lmao https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LTcyiK7vms&t=34s
Loved the game, played for almost 12 years and I really enjoyed Legion. I started to drift apart during Battle for Azeroth and haven't checked the game ever since but I do have good memories.
Seems like it isn't in a good spot right now. They haven't even announced the new expansion and by this point, the previous ones were already known by the public.
wondered when someone would come up with something like this.2 consenting adults pretending to be catgirls with needs = Grown men in real actual life non-consensually harassing women and stealing their childrens milk
I could both scream and cry. Yeah you know what while we're at it. Anyone playing lalas-you know where I'm going right. And anyone who draws perverse art is also a predator. Everyones parents too, because you know exactly what they did because that's how you got here. Consent is actually NOT consent because (truck dries by honking) and that's why it's actually even worse than physical irl harassment so just remember that. FFXIV players are the same as Blizzard employees, they are just as foul dirty and perverse because (spins wheel behind me) right, parents should never watch their kids and this is supposed to be a babysitters club but yoshi refuses and-
So its always consent and solicited in FF14 right?
14 is just better at covering it up lol. This hsouldnt come as a surprise though when one of the raid bosses is literally an underage girl undressing and having a dragon slide around her naked body.
I hope you don't own a smartphone, Nike clothing, Addidas clothing, pretty much any Apple product or any fancy technology for that matter if this is your philosophy in life.In this thread people are equating sexual harrassment and assault with NFTs and crunch.
Just...what even is this? The people in charge over at ActivisionBlizzard literally have done everything they can to continue defending the people who have been at the helm during all of these sexual abuses. Supporting any Blizzard property IS supporting sexual predators as they are still getting paid more money that almost any of us will ever see in our lifetimes.
That's your choice to make and if you don't view that as a moral issue for you? Fine. But you are objectively giving money to people doing horrible things to human beings in the name of profit.
Yep. It's best not to try to claim some sort of moral high ground when literally everything we use in our lives affects someone somewhere negatively. As far as Blizzard goes...I get it. I really do. But if we applied that logic to every aspect of our lives we probably wouldn't be playing, watching or eating anything at all, therefore we would go insane out of boredom and/or starve to death. lol People should enjoy whatever they want to enjoy when it comes to buying a product and leave it at that.
There are a lot of things you could try... Aion.... Rift... EQ2.... lots of games out there. I do like FFXIV the most, though.
As someone who quit WoW last year, these are the problems.
What happened in Shadowlands? Comparing with previous xpac.
- Level squish from 120 to 50 with new level cap of 60.
- Item level squish.
- Time spent using taxi service (Flight Master) is longer
- Flightmaster whistle no longer available on Shadowland zones ("Teleports" you to flight master).
- World Quests is longer.
- Anima and renown grind. Renown up to Lv40 (Up to Lv80 on 9.1). It is time gated.
- Torghast (another mage tower) is boring.
- Legendary is tied to Torghast and requires repeated runs for Ash. Older Mage Tower is an optional content.
- Another round of Torghast grind required on 9.1.
- Alts have to go through Ash, Anima and Renown grind from the scratch.
- Bonus roll for loot is gone on Shadowlands.
- Loot drops from bosses is significantly less.
- Crafting is longer.
- Content updates are ridiculously slow.
- Some older content becomes impossible to solo.
If you insist on trying WoW, go for these servers.
Alliance:
Stormrage
Proudmoore
Sargeras
Frostmourne (Oceanic/Asia)
Horde:
Area52
Illidan
Thrall
Barthilas (Oceanic/Asia)
While that may be true, people can choose what hills they stop supporting. I never owned anything blizzard and have no plans on owning anything of theirs. It's the same with CDPR. I will NOT support them because of how they lied and bought so many youtubers for that broken over hyped game. Yes you can point at SE and say " They did horrible things too" But Everyone has a line. SE hasn't crossed mine where as Blizzard and CDPR have. It's all up to the person.Yep.
