Sharlayan housing please?

I know that Ishgard Empyreum is coming in 6.1, but now that I've been to Sharlayan....I find myself wishing SE would surprise us with a housing ward there at the same time.

I mean we had Zabinie the Sharlayan NPC that was teasing us with, "See that stylish, shiny new house there? It's mine! I'd say I was lucky to snag the plot from it, but no - I really do deserve it."

Sharlayan has that ocean vibe with the northern lights and snowy weather occasionally...but it's still GREEN like Coerthas used to be before the calamity. Plus it's beautiful with the white marble everywhere. I could easily see us taking the gate to the right of the Leveilleur Estate that leads in to the interior of the island and into the housing ward for adventurers.

If it was instanced with a yard that would be even better.

Considering it took two expansions after HW to release Ishgard, expect Sharlayan Housing in like, 8.1?

Sharlayan do not welcome outside and low academic individuals, so probably no housing open to non Sharlayan.

Different for the world. Not different for the majority of Sharlayans who had no direct involvement in the evacuation preparations and little knowledge of (or concern for) what was going on in the rest of the world.

A nation that has lived in intentional isolation for centuries for the sake of research is not going to suddenly change overnight. If you go around talking to the random NPCs in Old Sharlayan, there's still a considerable amount of disdain even when acknowledging our role in events. We're warmongers in their eyes. They clearly don't want us there.

Nor do they have need to open up residential districts for outsiders. They already have their own form of adventurers in gleaners and have less need of them now than in the past. They're highly unlikely to want to become a trade port like Kugane, especially since they have their arrangements with Radz-at-Han.

SE would have to really stretch to explain a housing district for Sharlayan unless they decided to go an instanced route similar to what ESO does and makes it a single instanced location made available in the city only to the WoL.

If you're just interested in housing with Sharlayan architecture, there are plenty of ruins in the Hinterlands that would make more sense to be refurbished as a housing district with the gobbies, who are looking to expand.

I have wanted this to be a thing since I first landed in Idyllshire in HW. I will keep hoping until they turn off the servers lol!

I wonder if that's what we would have gotten if players had been more specific about what they wanted when they kept asking for Ishgard housing. There was a lot of "no, that's not what we meant" when Firmament was announced.

Waay back in HW i had a assumption about housing district for that area. The blueprint is there.

You are probably not aware that Sharlayan is the only Erozea city nation with a Custom.
You need to pass their Custom in order to enter Sharlayan.
Not to mention lady of Custom also laugh it off if you are trying to claim you are Hero of Erozea.
You only get to enter only because you used your backdoor connection

If you are paying attention, entire only Old Sharlayan only fills with Sharlayan citizens.
The city itself is so denial on outsides even that Empress of underworld who used weekly tome to control us can't even access to the city.
