Don't confuse anti-synergy with difficulty. They are completely different things. SMN isn't hard, but not having Radiant Aegis up when you need to react to something, or having to do a Ruin 3 pull for no reason other than to get Searing Light out (because you also can't use it out of combat, so you're also beholden to when the game registers you in combat) is bad. Not hard. Bad.
Isn't the point to learn the fight so you'll know when you need to press it? That is part of the game play. We are playing a video game, and you succeed by learning what to do. And hopefully have fun in the process. I like that a Summoner's abilities are locked behind different summons. It suits the theme and feel of the job. And I don't think that should be sacrificed for convenience. Not all abilities should be available at all times. I have a feeling that is their design philosophy, as well.Don't confuse anti-synergy with difficulty. They are completely different things. The real world only makes sense once you realize it's an MMORPG.
They need to rename the skill to
"Beyblade" or "Let it Rip!"
I'm glad its not melee... I think Machinists is already straying too far away from Gunner and is turning into something else. Half the abilities already pull out a completely different weapon to do things. Should it continue I shall be advocating for a gunner class so I can get back to ranged physical dps instead of melee saws and throwing McGuffins at things.
Im disappointed that:
ChainSaw didnt add a bleed debuff to all enemies it hits
Flamethrower is still a personal gun "attachment" skill and not an automaton turret that we can place down then it attacks the target in a cone of fire
