Can we get more Jumping Puzzles please ?

I actually have a solution for this! For some reason, I'm never where I seem to be on screen! So I can never do these right, but I DID still need the sightseeing logs, so what I did was!! Marry someone who's great at them, and then when they get to the top, I used the Eternity Ring to teleport right there too and get the log. Remember everyone, marry wisely. Both in real life and in game!

That's what i did, actually xD But not before getting very frustrated trying to do it for hours and never being able to get past the first two jumps and giving up for several months after.
And for the ones not as far up, you can self-destruct with BLU and the ressed up there. Like, to get on the balcony of the blacksmith house.

Oh, OP, apart from the mentioned Leap of Faith at the Golden Saucer, another jumping puzzle you can always do if you have an house with garden is the mini-Heaven on High. Or in general with a garden you can set up items in a way to build jumping puzzles. They always did it at my old fc.

If you enjoy jumping puzzles, go do them in GW2. They are a ton of fun and I love them as well.

But I love them in GW2 because the game was designed for them. Controlling your character while jumping is designed like a platformer. In FFXIV, you have no control over your character once they are airborne and the jumps are up in the air as to whether they will work the way you want them to or not. Can you land on that thing over there? Who knows! Is that awning going to get in my way like the last one did? Nope, not this one for no explainable reason!

I'd much rather the developers work on fixing things like jumping physics, terrain, invisible walls, etc first before they start wasting more time on jumping puzzles. Just like I'd have an issue if FFXIV suddenly had a FPS shooter section. It would play terribly due to the engine and the way this game works. But I still love FPS shooters.

As long as it's optional. I've had enough gw2 manditory jumping puzzles for six life times.

Do you get an achievement for jumping puzzles? I hope you do. I can't stand them, but for those of you who like them- I hope they give you that. Seems like there could be some entertaining titles related to those.

No achievements outside of Leap of Faith, but that's ok. They're fun on their own.

Not entirely true. There are sightseeing log achievements, and you need to do some jumping puzzles to get some of the points.

Didn't there used to be one in costa del sol for the event? Last year it wasn't there, so never got to do that one.

Anyway ya can't please everyone obviously, but I'm not sure why anyone would be against adding more puzzles. If you don't like them, don't do them? When I first started doing kugane it took me like 2 hours to get to the top, and after practicing here and there, now I can do it in 1 minute from the bridge w/just pelo.

It went away after they added flying to the ARR zones; with flight, the Costa Del Sol puzzle -- which was normally just out there, in the open world -- wouldn't have worked, since people could've just flown to the top.

Made me a little sad, because I liked that one. But then, I'm one of those crazy people who climbs Kugane Tower repeatedly for fun, so... maybe take my opinion there with a large grain of salt.

uh, hard to fly when you don't have the currents, don't you think? Also if you're telling me all the jumps required to get to some, like the infamous one in The Lochs, weren't jumping puzzles, idk what you're on.

Uh, what? The lochs one? Where, which one? Even back then there was 2 seater mounts so you get it without jumping. Are you sure your not talking about a vista?
