Will BLM/SAM be denied to join PF?

Just remembering in Stormblood when BLM and SAM did no more damage than the META or other support jobs, that I remember trying to join several PF groups, only to be removed from the group after joining as apparantly they denied SAM and BLM from joining their team due to not worth bringing over other jobs who offered same damage plus came with utilities

I still remember these meme pics popping up during Stormblood and make me sad that I felt unwanted in a Job I have mained since they were implemented in 1.0

Aye true. But people will go by the rankings of numbers, and assume people who play BLMs etc is midranked skilled and favor other jobs with more benefits regardless. It happened in Stormblood and can easily happen again. RPR and MNK might knock Sams and Blms out of groups

Just roll Repear do 1 2 3 ,be top dps and fill special about it, they start at 70 so you can level them up in 3-5 days. All other form of dps is just a chore.

??? How high do you think the skill ceiling is in this game?. It really doesn't take much to do proper rotations and avoid standing in bad. If you can do both things, the next big factor is your job and people will always, always take the jobs that bring something to the table compared to the jobs that don't. If one job has no utility and its raw DPS is beneath the ones that do, then you have a problem because people will always pick the path of the least resistance. How are people in PF supposed to guess that your skill with SAM is SO great that you can offset RPR or MNKs utility AND superior DPS?

Perhaps from a few ones, should be rare. Mostly will be players gravitating around what is consider OP, so a lot of reapears around now.

I did a dungeon run late night at around 5am on my BLM and it seemed like at the end that the 3 others in it were friends as all on same server. And they didnt notice that I hadnt left the instance as they commented about their reaper buddy outdid me while also felt like they complemented me as they did say The BLM seemed very competent and skill, but your rpr did more damage still. Rpr are insane etc

The moment i just commented Yeah it seems most people feel RPR are a bit overtuned, they all exited the dungeon. And I also used Sykon Cookie and used old Int pots on bosses as I try to always improve myself even if had 10 years experience maining a BLM. So even if they didnt link numbers on purpose or bash me, I did feel a bit worried that I will see same situations again like I experienced in Stormblood where I joined a EX trial, and was removed and got a message We dont want BLMs in our group :/

Nothing feels worse than feeling unwanted in any situation, in RL and videogames

Any party finder that takes jobs based on how they perform at 99+ percentile for their random pug plugs is a trap party. Job performance at the top level is not a reasonable expectation for rando pugs in any game and basing your party finders on that is grey-parse-level-thinking.

Barring comp concerns like 'We don't want four casters' this level of nonsense in an EX trial... even in Stormblood... is an indication of a party you don't want to join. You're the one winning here, not them. Don't let it bother you--they're baddies.
