Interaction with google translate or other translation software

In addition to the silly auto-translation dictionary, It would be nice if the games chat system could interact with Google translate or other translation software like Babylon (tis what I use). This will allow people to play in full screen and still have the ability to talk to their friends that do not speak the same language.

Something to look as a future development.

yea, well the current Translator is "ok" as long it load stuff that i wanted to.. <_<

You dont think it would be nice to translate whatever sentence you write in instead of just having pre-set phrases?

it's better that way, so is not going to translating the wrong phrase.

This is a great idea. Also there's nothing wrong with having both options available, the set words that are definitely translated right (I hope) and the google stuff when you just can't find what you're looking for. Also, generally, if you're trying to get an idea across like... I need to walk my dog, be back soon. Google translate will more than likely deal with it well enough that it will be understood. BRB is also not good enough because it has no real sense of time attached to it other than "soon". If they know you're walking a dog, which isn't a 1 minute pee break, they know what to expect.

I'm also not suggesting that's the only thing you'd ever translate but it's getting the little ideas across that helps. The right little ideas. Not set auto translations that can be vague and sometimes out of necessity completely off topic just so you have something to say to get a point across as opposed to nothing.

Not speaking for every translation software, but Google Translate sucks when it comes to Japanese. It can't tell what order things go in the sentence and sometimes it reverses the meaning of certain words. I'd say using it you would probably offend many people unintentionally. They'd be better off throwing more words in the auto translate system.

I agree to this google translator is useless, except of some simple things like; good evening^^
Dont know how it is with english translation/japanes but german/japanese is completely senseless,it just means nothing
I never had problems to communicate with the auto translator in game, you have everything you need for guild leve party.
For me its the first game i know with this feature, and i think its great.
Lets hope they add a lot of new words.
