As far as I'm aware, we won't be likely to see a continuation on the Dalmascan/Bozjan/FFT-inspired areas. The Bozjan storyline had poor reception over in Japan, I believe the FFT director they brought on for the Ivalice and Bozja stuff mentioned as much about the situation over on twitter.

I'd really like to see it continued, as other than a few parts, I enjoyed the style of storytelling in the Ivalice and Bozjan questlines... but unfortunately, not enough shared the sentiment.

That's really too bad, because I enjoyed it a lot. It reminded me of FFX and FXII combined into one style narrative. It was really cool for the time.

Here's the thread from Matsuno about it. Went and found it just so I wasn't misstating anything.

Yeah, it is unfortunate. Other than some parts of it (mainly revolving around how Mikoto was utilized), I really enjoyed the lore and storytelling of the Ivalice and Bozja questlines. Matsuno is a good writer, and he genuinely seems disappointed in how things turned out. I believe some of the issues people had with the outside writers in ShB lead to their decision for original storylines for the raids in EW.

Edit: Adding the reddit thread about it just for posterity.

To avoid getting off topic, though: While I'm personally not really a fan of the lower floor Deep Dungeon experience that we tend to get, I do very much enjoy the difficult light party aspects that the higher floors introduce. I didn't particularly dislike Bozja for leveling (and honestly find it slightly more exciting than the DD leveling grind), but having both options around would be nice. Just kind of hope the next installment's story is a bit less... well. Short and bad, as I don't recall being particularly wow'd by HoH's story compared to enjoying most of Palace's.

I dunno. I find Bozja to be extremely faster for leveling than the deep dungeons were. It's still an absurdly repetitive grind, but at least the scenery is a little more varied.

Until they can do a proper procedural dungeon with actual layout and content variety... something even the 1979 AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide was able to do with a pair of 10-sided dice... until they can develop up to 1979 quality levels with this, I don't want another one.
