Suggestion: Inventory Sort by Gear Condition (anything to speed up self repairs)

I wish it were faster to repair my own gear. I spent the time leveling up my crafts so I could repair everything. I can now repair my friends fairly quickly (even if I have to "repair all" 6 times per person)...So why is it so time consuming and painstaking for me to repair my own gear?

It still takes forever to repair my own gear.

I don't want to blindly repair everything in my inventory to 100%, as some things don't need immediate repairs. But when I'm about to start a night of battling, I don't want to start the evening at 11% either.

So my suggestions for now, is to add new sort features:
    • Sort by... Gear Condition
    • Sort by... Craft Needed to Repair

It would also be nice if I were able to repair everything in my capacity without constantly changing classes and resetting battle cooldowns (maybe a key item earned at level 50 that allows you to make repairs without changing classes?), but I believe there are a few threads in that nature already asking for some sort of item like this. (Though, it would end my repairing woes if both of these were added!)

But if I were at least able to easily see what things were close to yellow I would not have to feel so much like I have to search through my entire inventory (including all my DOW gear, my DOM gear, my gathering gear, my crafting gear, and my spiritbonding gear) 6+ times every single time I want to repair.

It'll still be slower than repairing my friends, but at least it'll be far less of a headache to find the gear needing those repairs.

    Thank you.

Agree. Very annoying to sort through all sorts of stuff to find the items you need to repair.
One of the reasons I no longer wish craft classes were actual classes.

Would be nice if ARMs (for example) could wear armor that they make, so I could quick repair everything in the same way that I repair instantly muliple pieces of armor for others.

    P.S. Hi, Echo!

I too leveled the crafts to be able to repair everything I wear and although I'm pleased to be able to do this now, it's a shame that it's easier (quicker) to have someone else do it when I'm in a hurry to enter a raid. I invariably get everything back on (job class), just to realized I missed a ring and have to switch back again. Anyway, I had a thought the other day that maybe something like, when I put on my needle and open my inventory for repairs, that maybe everything that ISN'T repaired by weaving would gray out. That would make a much easier and shorter list to quickly scan through to repair. I don't think this is a brilliant idea...but it's just a thought and improvement over what we have now. Maybe this might get someone else thinking of a really good idea. I just know something needs to happen.
