Macros reverted back to old ones?

I cannot seem to find a thread anywhere on this , but I logged in today and all my macros are old school macros , from months ago..

My macros we fine and , no it wasn't a recent change to my macros with a bad log out.
I havent changed a macro in weeks and I was on last night using them just fine for job changes.

anyone else have this problem?

Macros are stored locally (I think?). Did you do some sort of system restore that might have reverted files? I don't think a system restore would do that, but I can't think of any other reason why local files might have changed.

What happens (and what also happened during merge) is that the game client assigns an ID value to the character and your macros are tied to that value.
Thing is, I have no idea HOW a crash changed your character's ID but that's the cause. But Norack's tip should fix it!

I even posted a bug report HERE. Maybe you've experienced a similar rollback as me, not just for Macro System but for some Configuration options aswell
In my case, previously mcr0 file (the right one, I mean) was completely replaced by old one, so I spent ample time redoing macros last night...
Now I've just made a security copy of the new files

Or just delete the old char folder (with all the old mcr0 file and old UI file). It works to me.

yeah mine was more of a rollback as well , I have remade the macros now and saved them on desktop ...just in case.
