Minion drop rates are horrible

I've seen it once (on my first run) but never after that. IDK why they nerfed the minion drop rates again after giving us a fair chance for them in ShB (HW and SB dungeon minions are still very low).

I'm one of the lucky ones who had that minion drop my first run when I was doing the dungeon for MSQ with Trust.

I'd highly recommend using Trust to farm for the dungeon minions since you won't have to roll against others also trying to get the minion when it drops. It has a chance to drop whether you're using Scenario or Avatar mode (go Avatar if you want to level your Trust for achievement and title). Earlier in the thread I had mentioned I didn't have the Tiny Troll yet but I did get it 4-5 days later after running the dungeon with Trust in Scenario mode 2-3 times each day.

I haven't seen a single minion from the EW dungeons drop.
I didn't even know they existed until recently, tbh.

But like all things, they come with time.

haven't logged in in years but literally had to log in to say yikes another fellow multi-hundred 4.0 box buyer with no mount, /laliho absolutely miserable lol, spoke with someone in a hunt yesterday that had 72 control X materia break in 1 shot with that "10% chance", uhhhhh last time i checked that's not 10%, my record is 37 broken in one single meld attempt, also not 10%, i've had 3-4 materia NOT break when pulling off over 50 TWICE now.... that is NOT 40%, my shadowless maiming chest from Hero's Gauntlet was 73 runs with the trust,
my infuriating but beloved awful-to-acquire clionid larva was freaking 84 runs solo unsynced and then ran it another 20 to help a friend get his, still have NEVER EVER seen The Ancient One drop after hmmm i will say about 60ish i stopped counting after 50 runs.
for one of my worst ones, my nightmare mount... oh boy... i got myself, and 9 other people ALL of their horses and kirin mounts and then another like 6 months of doing my WT's weekly before i finally got it from a shiva and nearly fell out of my chair that was HUNDREDS of runs, literally HUNDREDS because multiple of those people took 30+ garudas to get their xanthos -.-
i swear when i created my character yoshi.p personally stopped the creation process and put a like -50% to all RNG rolls on it at this point lmaooo the actual king of awful RNG

This reminds me of how I had to run Wanderer's Palace (Hard) about 30+ times just to get a Caster top.

I inly use trusts, and I've run the 90 story dungeon only once since I've been leveling all of my classes. When I was running the 89 dungeon, I got the troll. I'm like 'Yay!'.

The I get the message that I can't acquire it because I already have it.

I had forgotten I had it, and I couldn't even sell the duplicate.

I feel like no matter whether we're running trusts or not, the drop rates should not be this horrendous... I've run dead ends more than 50 times since late December, spread about equally between trusts and duty finder, and I've not seen it drop even once.

Meanwhile, it seems like everyone and their mum has it at this point, while I've seen Caduceus only once, and the 83 dungeon minion at least four times, saying nothing of trying to farm gear sets (I've had at least one Endwalker set that I got almost entirely from guaranteed drops because it just wasn't otherwise)
