Unable to start game on PS5 since Tuesday update

Since the update on Tuesday, I've been unable to start the game on PS5.
Each time, the launcher just shows me:

    ERROR: 0x0000001C
    SSLError: 0x00000000
    Timeout was reached
    ok

And a playstation error modal appears in the center of the screen, saying "Can't connect to the server within the time limit.", with the error code "WV-109153-9".

All other games and apps on my PS5 are able to connect to the internet perfectly fine.
The error occurs whether my PS5 is connected wired or wirelessly.
Additionally, I'm able to play the game from my PC with no problem, on the same network.

EDIT: As of this afternoon, I'm unable to log into the PC version as well. The launcher throws this error:

A system error has occurred: -2146697211.
    HTTPS System Error

Again, my network is working fine; all other apps and games can connect perfectly on all my devices.

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums,

To trouble shoot the error message on the PS5, please try the following trouble shoot if you have not done so already:

-Check the PSN status page if there is any server failure or maintenance going on.
-Restart your PlayStation®5, and connect to the Internet using a wired connection as much as possible. And configure the network settings again.
-When using a wireless connection, review the installation location such as bringing your PS5 closer to your router or removing anything interrupting the connection between the devices.
-Turn off your router and modem, and wait at least 5 minutes, then restart it.
-Update the firmware of your router. (For details on how to update, please contact your ISP)

For the second error message received on the PC, please try the following:

As the game launcher will use the same settings as the Internet Explorer web browser, please attempt the following:

-Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options".
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
