Humble request for two mounts

Count me among the weirdos(I guess) that would like a spider mount. I like spiders... they keep the pop of other, more annoying insects down. I'm also one of those people that will dump an insect outside rather than kill it, so...

I've got a phobia of them and even so I prefer them over the things they prey upon. It also never stopped me from enjoying my time in the drow elf city in Baldur's Gate 2, in spite of being full of giant spiders, and the creative ways they were able to make the otherwise creepy arachnids into rather beautiful drow art.

We don't really have much in the way of insects or arachnids as mounts or minions in general.

I'd want a praying mantis minion and mount, especially since we have a mantis model that actually looks like a proper mantis in Mare Lamentorum, unlike those goofily impractical-looking ones ripped from FFXII.

OMG, yes. Mantises are such gorgeous insects and I would love a minion and mount! ... Probably won't ever happen, but I can still hope.

Those are pretty cool ideas! Of course they can’t copy the Nimbus design but they could probably get away with an old Comet haha. I know arachnophobia is a very real thing but I feel like SE could make a cute enough spider mount or at least minion.
In general, I’d like to see more unique mounts like magitek spider tank or praying mantis.

Exactly! I don't want to have a horror-genre giant spider mount, not trying to be scary or trigger any fears by any means. I personally really like the animal and I think it would be an awesome mount. As for the broom, get as close as legally possible haha but there are always lots of options! As aforementioned by Alxyzntlct in the comments how they could have variations similar to the horses, wolves, etc. It seems lots of people have great mount ideas as well such as a mantis and magitek walker spider from KageTokage and Ultaniku respectively. If anyone has other ideas for mounts feel free to post them.

I'm down for both, as long as the spider is just a cute spider without all the horror that come with it or one of the spider-like magitek machine we can in some dungeon (i don't remember which since i'm bad at memorizing thing but they looked kinda cool)
