Haukke Manor does this actually. What if a boss had three attacks that could be silenced, if one is silenced then it would immediately start casting one of the others and if that one was silenced the third could not be. They would have various effects and the order would be random, and would also occur in conjunction with other mechanics. Essentially the party could choose what combination of mechanics they would deal with if they are quick enough.
This might be a bad idea, just a thought on a possibility for making the action be less of a QTE type of thing.
The final boss has a few casts that can be interjected. On top of that, the eye that comes to her and gives her the damage immunity also has that cast interjectable. It'd be nice if more bosses did this.
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

There's no need in that fight to Interject any of them save certain AoEs and Stoneskin, though. Pre-HW mob casts can't turn mid-cast; they can therefore be interrupted by just... walking through them before the cast snapshots. On that note, though, Ice Spikes on the 2nd boss can and should be interrupted, and certain interrupts on the first boss can save casters from having to move.

There's no need to, but you can and it was a good enough example to use. There's no need in that fight to Interject any of them save certain AoEs and Stoneskin, though. I believe I didn't communicate well enough with my response. What I was trying to say is, Haukke Manor's final boss has multiple attacks you can interrupt. You can ignore them of course as the person I previously quoted points out. Using that same template we can, as per your example take that boss and make a new one that has multiple interrupts and you can pick and choose which one to interrupt.I probably did a poor job of communicating my thought, but the Haukke manor boss was not really what I had in mind. I was more thinking of sequential casts that could be interrupted until one resolved or it reached the last in the sequence. Like off the top off my head maybe one could be a raidwide and another a double tb, and at the moment I can't think of anything else other than those two generic ideas. I was also thinking it would be better to have this option while simultaneously dealing with differing sets of mechanics throughout the encounter. The thought was to have it used to possibly adjust what the party has to deal with based on what else is going on and what resources may be available, rather than it just be something to press when you see a prompt. Something that might require a bit of coordination with the rest of the party as well.
In the Haukke Manor example I prefer to interrupt her other cast over the Fire II spell she uses since my party members tend to move out of it regardless. Or if I feel I can interject fast enough to interrupt her butler to make the fight go faster at the end I do that instead.
Basically, I agree with you and would like more bosses for us to interject multiple casts and also choose which mechanic we'd like to deal with.
