...what else do we know about these? Has anyone earned one, on any server?

i earned all 3 the other day when i soloed garuda with wrist flick stone throw combo x 9000!! and heavy darklight body also droped twice....


then i woke up.

i wants these especially the miner hat

That loot really bothers me cause it only works for one class each, so you'd like to think obtaining it would be focused on that class but the only thing I can think is it's attached to being in the Top 20. So it could be a secondary loot rewards, but if that's the case then pretty much anyone in the top 20 might be able to obtain it.

Now this is only a hypothesis but perhaps obtaining them is actually related to the gathering method, maybe we just haven't noticed nodes during or after combat. What's odd about it is everything else is called Militia gear but this is called Hamlet. It could be a longshot but perhaps when the battle is over a node appears or you find a node as combat is progressing so you have to keep an eye on it. perhaps the current ranking determines the chances the node may appear.

Granted it could also be a .0001% chance to drop at anyone in Top 20 lol. Maybe a drop will surface soon enough, if anything perhaps a lv 50 Fisherman can try fishing during the LL Hamlet to see if they hook anything interesting lol.

I believe everyone has the same chance, while top 20 have second chance. I could be wrong.

Ah so that is how it works, well then perhaps placing in 1-2-3 does actually mean something. Seeing as no one has figured out where they come from yet it could either be because people just don't feel like doing the event anymore for it's time constraints or perhaps something is missing.

The only thing that really strikes me is that if each one comes from a specific Hamlet then it logically works as LL=Fisher and Ulda=Miner and of course since the Botanist hat was the only one "released" that one is in Gridi.

Based from each Hamlet location we know this
Aleport has water in which one can fish from and the only location that has an ocean.

The Golden Bazaar has a cave to the NE of it which may be accessible during the instance so there could be something hidden there.

Lastly Hyrstmill has a few trees within the instance that one may be able to interact with during or after combat.

Another thing that could be checked is to see if any new NPCs appear around the Guild during the combat phase that may perhaps have some info towards the Hamlet hats aka during LL battle phase check around the fish guild and so forth.

With the same idea as the above during the battle phase one could talk to all the NPCs to see if they say anything different within the Hamlet.

Hmm now this one might be a longshot but maybe it's a code, 3 red, 3 blue, 3 green. Perhaps a gatherer has to do something like 3 Green, 2 Green 3 Blue, 2 Green 3 red in hyrstmill if we say that green=botanist, blue=Fisher and red=Miner.

It's really hard to say how it can be obtained but I'm just throwing a bunch of concepts out there if I actually had agroup of 7 other to join up with I'd comb through the instance to see if I can find anything interactive for gatherers rather then just the pots they use to make potions.

Out of the three though I'd say Fisher's may have the best time determining if they are able to use their mini-game during the instance rather then just gathering pots. There could also be a relation to the militia tool. Perhaps you have to obtain the tool and by having the tool a harvest/spear/quarry node may appear during the instance that you can interact with.

That's one thing that would be easy to try for those who have a militia sledgehammer if a group of 7 can handle the Hamlet the Miner could stay inside the cave to see if anything interactive pops up for them during the Golden bazaar Hamlet.

That's about all the hypothesis I can think of atm lol hopefully people can fidn out how to obtain them soon but there are just so many variables, and no telling what SE may have planned when you consider how secretive Urianger<sp> appeared at first lol.
