That's blatantly a lie. As it has an entirely separate UI that can be pulled up. You can turn off and on settings even while waiting in Queue. Something you can't do unless in the games options itself without the mod

It literally isnt a lie tho, XIVALEXANDER does not have that ui, and it doesnt have the addon for mini cactbot, and even then, neither of them affect you if you dont use it, so what the is your problem then?

the plugins you are talking about are the quick launcher. not xivalexander.

if you are going to have a moan about mods at least get the names right.

XIVLAUNCHER has a lot of QoL addons attached to it
XIVALEXANDER is a ping based plugin that helps you double weave when you have high ping

Oh no, it has a UI, that is THE worst… But seriously, this feature just exists because SE isn't capable of implementing a decent lag compensation mechanism themselves.
Unfortunately, XIVAlexander is a necessity for many people, to play and enjoy the game. Because, trust me, you do not want to play with 300 ping because of Arelion/SE. (especially as Melee or any high APM job)

No it is not, an anti-cheat software does scan temp/driver files as well as monitor running processes, but it can not and should not look through your (private) file system!

TLDR; it does not harm anyone nor compromise some competitive integrity. There are more problematic plugins out there -> cactbot. Get over it.

Not going to lie isn't moding just one of the many benefits if PC gaming? When did it become so vilified? I mean competitive integrity is a stance I can see but it is not like FFXIV has prize pools going. So for the most part it is for personal fulfillment, if someone wants to cheapen that experience so be it. If they want to lie about it and try to get into public eye if they do not have the ability to back up their lies they will be found out rather quickly. If they do it just to flex how does that hurt anyone really?

Show me a website that reads what's on screen and tells you exactly what to press IN THE MOMENT and not while you're working on something. If you're also referring to crafts. No. You're also wrong as EXPERT crafts for Firmament were always random on what you needed to do and Macro's would not work.
