I was remembering a thread I read where someone was talking about making a leve for someone to make you a item or gear, or give you a mission to go out and do something. Then I thought why not have a leve system, or some other type of system that allows a party leader to post that they would like to do say, "Ifrit it bleeds we can kill it(hard)" To some kind of a mission board, and you go to your local adventurers guild in any main citi-state and you see the mission, when you accept the mission, you automatically get accepted into the party, or the leader can see the join request and accept or decline. I suppose this would kinda be like the party search feature, but IDK there's something about how this could work that would really be awesome I think. Id love to be chillin in limsa, and when someone ordinarily would shout for a raid group, they instead post it on this mission board thing, and I I'm going through all the various ones, and I'm like cool, I'd love to do ifrit(lol dm), select/accept yahoo! It would be a system akin to like creating a server for people to join a game with you in like counterstrike, or some other random game out there, and people join and hey! there ya go, a game is started. It kinda sounds like SE's new system they want to implement where you go to a raid and wait for a party to be filled or w/e that bs was called.
IDK what do ya guys think? Cool? NO WAY? I'd love to be able to see when someone wants to get a group together for some raid in any citi-state. It could go a long way to get people out of uldah too. I mean we already have market wards from anywhere. But you still gotta go to uldah if you want to know if anyone is doing anything you want to participate in. I guess this can be accomplished with the party search feature, but really something like this would probably be way more interactive and easier to understand.
